Broomhill Getaway Suite - Brand NEW

A bright and brand new self-contained guest suite located in the beautiful town of Sooke. Start your hike right outside our door and enjoy the fantastic rain forest and wildlife the area offers. The suite is situated less than 3 km away from the town center with restaurants and shopping opportunity. It is a new suite and has a fully equipped kitchen including a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as olive oil and basic spices for cooking.
Our guest suite is also a great starting point for biking as well as mountain biking, kayak tours, zip lining, whale watching, surfing or just a relaxing visit at the spa.
You will have endless opportunities for the best hiking in the world. It is a short drive to explore the area such as spectacular coast hiking in East Sooke Park or breathtaking Mystic Beach. If you want to explore the city of Victoria it is only a 45 min travel by car. Or you can just come to recharge and relax with a great book or a good movie on our cozy couch.
We are here to help you and make your stay unforgettable. You can also book your host for a guided hiking tour so you don't need to worry about anything. We speak fluently English and German. Your host Ines is Austrian and her husband Phil is Canadian. We are on hand if you need directions or tips about the area.

You won’t be disappointed

Great stay in Sooke. The VRBO is so close to everything. We had a wonderful stay. Many times we walked in the neighborhood and the views were stunning. Highly recommended.

Third time stay

This clean quiet accommodation hosted by Innes and Phil has been perfect for my purposes, three years running. Located a short drive from “downtown” Sooke, but providing a quiet respite from activities based there, with friendly and accommodating hosts, this 1 bedroom getaway gets five stars from me.

A short stay in Sooke

This was a great place to stay while we explored the Sooke area. Ines' and Phil's suite is cozy, clean, beautifully appointed and thoroughly stocked. On top of a well curated kitchen, they supplied a bunch of travel recommendations and even wildlife tips.

Nice quiet apartment in the sooke hills.

This apartment was sleek and functional, suited our desire to be centrally located in Sooke to a T. Quiet, clean, everything you need... highly recommended.

Great place!

The suite was very clean and comfortable for a family of four. Near the beach and grocery stores. The owner had a binder full of instructions and pointers about places to visit which was very helpful. It was our first time to visit Sooke and we had a great time!

Family visit

Good location in Sooke, really close to hiking trails and not too far from the village. My wife and I stayed here and we had our granddaughter stay with us for two nights. Property was as described with no surprises which is always great.

Sooke getaway

We had a wonderful experience staying at that suite. Convenient location, good suite size, very cozy, well-equipped kitchen with full size appliances, A/C, cleanliness was at superior level, clear instructions were provided on how to get to suite. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely choose to stay there again.

Quiet, private location near great hiking

This was a perfect location from which to visit family in Colwood/Langford. It was immaculately clean, well kept, everything looked brand new. It has a private entrance and feels very safe. I chose to stay in Sooke because it is a charming little town, the drive in to Langford is beatiful, and it is still within easy distance to downtown Victoria and the airport. This suite is well appointed, has everything you need for a delightful stay and it was great to start each day with a 2 hour hike in the forest just behind the house. Highly recommend this place. Hope to return.

Great spot in Sooke!

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. Initially we planned to drive all over the south shore, but there was so much to do in Sooke! The property is one block from a trailhead, with Broom Hill peak offering excellent views of the Olympics (just make a lot of noise on the trail, there are black bears). The apartment is impeccably clean, and the neighborhood quiet. There is good sound isolation between the apartment suite and the rest of the house, with an always-on bathroom fan that helps create white noise. In the summer, there's a nearby farmer's market on Saturdays, and the community is always throwing festivals and gatherings. If you have an EV, download the BC Hydro app to find charging stations. We had really good luck repeatedly using the one at Village Market.

Aug family trip

Overall great stay. Place was good but not quite what expected in that I did not know we would be above the garage Woyld have nice to have some place to sit outside in the evening. Just a couple of chairs. Bed was quite hard, but the couch was bery comfortable with the overlay. Really greatful for the cot option although we did end ip using it. Lots of help with information about activities etc which was much appreciated. From the posting pictures I actually thought we were closer to the water but not a big deal

Excellent launching point for Sooke adventures

Excellent accommodation with everything we needed for a family of four. Clean, private unit, easy check in and out, great amenities, responsive hosts and a nice neighbourhood that was luckily for my kids, loaded with blackberry picking opportunities. Would highly recommend.
