BEACH HOUSE WITH WIFI Wayasewa Island, YASAWA.
Location:
Welcome to our Tropical Fijian Village Experience Home. We are situated near the foot of a mountain nearby the sea. It is right in the middle of Namara village where you will meet the most friendliest people in the world. Culture and traditions is still rich and that is why we want you to come and experience our way of living. Wayasewa Island is the 1st island in the Yasawa Group. It is not in the city. So life here is different from the city life. Normally operate in FIJI TIME
Accommodation
We have 2 bedrooms, a toilet and a bathroom. We can cater up to 6 guests and may be 2 more upon request. We provide this accommodation for people who wishes to experience our local lifestyle. So if you are here for luxury, sorry this is not a place for you. We do provide basic but clean accommodation with clean linen and towels but we recommend you to bring your own beach towel. We have solar power and so light at night is not a problem. You may also charge your electrical stuff. We have a fan in each room.
Meals
We have a kitchen and we do cooking for you. We provide fresh local yummy fruits and vegetables and fresh fish from the sea. We can always cater with any kind of meals you may after. It is always helpful to advice us if you are allergic to any kind of food before arrival.
Activities
We have several different kind of activities.
1) Snorkeling with the sharks is always the main highlights. Feeding the sharks is done by the guide and you can happily watch at the same time. Shark feeding is $60 per person.
2) Hiking
Hiking the highest peak on the island is always a highlight. It may be crucial but it's rewardable. You will be amazed by the view. $25 per person
3) VISITING TOM HANKES ISLAND
It where the movie CASTAWAY was filmed. It takes about 1 hrs 30 minute boat ride to reach it. Same time you will be passing several beautiful islands and on your way back (optional) you can stop in one of the islands to have lunch.
RATES IS DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE
4) SWIMMING WITH MANTARAYS
An unforgettable experience. About 1 and a half hour boat ride and join the others swimming with the mantarays.
$100/PAX
5) SCHOOL VISIT./ SAND BRIDGE TRIP
We have a local school where our village kids go to. The kids are from age 5 to 14yrs. During your visitation to the school, each class will greet you and sing a few songs for you. They have lovely voices. After school visit you will be taken to the sandbridge for swimming.
The sandbridge connects the two islands WAYALEVU AND WAYASEWA during low tide but will be buried in water when it's high tide.
We have other minor activities but these are the main ones.
TRANSFER
We do airport pickup and local boat transfer from the Lautoka Fisheries Wharf to Wayasewa island. Trip takes 60 minutes.
Boat Fare is $150per person for one way for adults.
Departure time is flexible.
