About this property
Peace and privacy, suitable for families or couples
The house 'Olivier' belongs to the Mas Vinson. Mas Vinson is an old winery, an idyllic oasis in the middle of a magical environment with the incomparable southern French flair. Since 1981, the Mas has been renovated by the two Swiss Nora and Walti Kaiser, taking into account the original architectural style. In the holiday home 'Olivier' you have a private garden with a view of the beautiful nature and can enjoy your vacation undisturbed. But you have the opportunity to meet other holiday guests in the park of Mas Vinson. The park with meadows, old trees and lots of romantic spots is available for all Mas Vinson guests. In the middle of this park, a covered garden pavilion with a fireplace invites you to unforgettable barbecue evenings. From April to October our swimming pool (5 x 10 m) is at your disposal, surrounded by a playground and shady trees for a pleasant siesta on hot summer days.
Excursions in the area: The holiday house 'Olivier' offers you an ideal starting point for many exciting trips in the area. Within a radius of 1 to 1.5 hours by car you can reach many exciting travel destinations that guarantee unforgettable memories of your vacation days. Nîmes, the historic Roman city with its well-preserved arena, Montpellier, the modern, vibrant university city, Avignion with the Papal Palace and Arles with its amphitheater are impressive cities.
Sports activities: tennis, golf, horse riding, canoeing, z. B. with the destination Pont du Gard, a Roman heritage that you must see.
Excursions to the largest European bamboo forest (Anduze), to various fascinating caves, to the Cevennes National Park, to the Camargue or to Aigue Mortes, the crusader city, to the Salines du Midi and last but not least to the sea at the western end of the Camargue, with the villages Les Grois du Roi, Port Camargue, La Grande Motte or Montpellier beach.
Culinary: The Midi is particularly fascinated by the many colorful markets that lure you with their fresh, regional vegetables and sweet fruits in the summer months. It's fun to shop at a different market again and again and then cook and grill at home in Mas Vinson in your own kitchen or in the garden hall.
Traditional: During the summer months, the village festivals with their equestrian games are very popular. There are also often outdoor events such as concerts and theater. Inquire in the relevant tourist offices.
