This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Kama’aina home that sleeps up to 6 guests overlooks the shimmering shoreline of Kailua Bay and historic downtown Kailua is closeby, offering incredible restaurants, cute boutique shops, a handful of neat breweries, and even a chocolate factory where you can take a tour and sample some high-end, Hawaii-made chocolate. The home is equipped with split air conditioning for optimal temperature comfort in the main living area and bedrooms, with plenty of natural light and airflow that fills the space for an easy breezy tropical experience. Kai Mele is equipped with a full kitchen, as well as a dining area, and a living space that opens to the front and back yard. Guests can lounge in the added amenities of flat-screen televisions, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer. The spacious covered backyard lanai (porch) is furnished with various seating options from which guests can enjoy the spectacular view across the lush and expansive backyard towards idyllic ocean and peekaboo views of the Mokulua Island. Additionally, the backyard includes lounge chairs that are perfect for soaking up some Hawaiian sun, as well as a barbecue grill and outdoor dining area fit for cooking up a lovely meal. While Kai Mele is located on the serene eastern coast, it is only 30 minutes to downtown Honolulu, the Hawaiian capital known for its world class shopping and dining experiences. It is also only 30 minutes to and from the Honolulu International Airport.
