Huntsville is the northern gateway to Muskoka on the door step of internationally renowned Algonquin Park and Arrowhead Provincial Parks.
Our cottage is located a short 10 minute drive from downtown Huntsville where you will find many fine shops and a diversity of restaurants and dinning experiences.
Our recently renovated cottage is 4 +1 bedrooms (Bunkie) with two full bathrooms.
We lie on 250 feet of sun drenched frontage on Mary Lake. Sought after Mary Lake is part of a four lake water system all connected by the Muskoka river- anchored by Huntsville in the middle. South-West exposure provides the true Muskoka experience:: watch the sunrise, play all day, then watch the sunset. The large oversize dock with Muskoka chairs makes for easy living all day long.
A sandy beach provides easy shallow water access for all. The cottage itself has a well equipped large kitchen (with a gas cook top and electric double oven) for your budding culinary team flowing into a large dining area which provides comfortable dining seating for ten. There are two separate living areas allowing young and old alike to have their own space. Two bedrooms on the main floor and two upstairs allow easy access and privacy to sleeping quarters.

Enjoyed cottage, great for 8 adults and 1 child. Fire pit was excellent as was sitting on the dock. Swimming for adults was disappointing as the water was so shallow you ended up in boat lane. Owners were excellent and quickly responded to any issues or questions. Location was great with short drive to Huntsville.
Peggy and Doug prepared everything for us during our stay. In addition, they provided us with helpful guidance about the property, neighborhood and outdoor activities. They are such friendly hosts.
We highly recommend their property for a stay for any duration.
My family and I had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful cottage. The hosts were very friendly and took the time to show us around. Communication with the hosts was exceptional and they also provided us with things to do around the area. I would recommend this cottage to any family looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the waterfront.

About the host

We've been Muskoka cottagers for 40 years- first in Gravenhurst and now in Huntsville. As working professional with four busy children the cottage was one o the few places we could all re-unit, dis-arm, share stories and laughs with family and close friends. Now that we're retied, and the family is growing, the stories are magically getting better.
