Took my 85 year-old dad and my two dogs to visit friends and family in the Dallas area. This place was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The dogs had a big backyard. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe I was able to take the dogs on a long walk twice a day. It was so easy to connect with our host. She made our stay very easy and enjoyable. Would definitely come back. Wi-Fi signal was great as I needed to get some work done while I was there.
We had a nice stay at the house. It was comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. Great communication from the host and made sure to check that all was ok after our arrival. Would stay here again.
This is a cute 2 bedroom/2 bath mid twentieth century house with a fenced backyard. When using the key pad to unlock the front door you have to wait until it quits making noise before you can open the door. The house is clean and neat with enough kitchen equipment to do some basic cooking. I made coffee & breakfast every morning. The coffee maker was a bit hard to find because it was on a shelf in the kitchen closet which also contained the trash can, etc. Our dog is diabetic and I have to give her daily shots so she usually travels with my husband and I. The fenced backyard is great for dogs. We would definitely stay here again.
The property cute, spacious and clean. It was conveniently located near family, we could walk to their house. It was exactly as it was shown in the listing, which is nice.
The house is solid but could use some updating. Seating is limited in the tv viewing room, but the kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. We were disappointed that the promised parking in the garage was not available, but we did appreciate the washer and dryer.
Great stay for family. Host was very helpful in getting us all settled for the weekend. Lovely home and great neighborhood near parks and local restaurants near by.
This house was charming and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the den— comfortable sofa and lots of interesting books on the shelves.
The beds were comfortable and the home was clean.
A nice place to relax with our daughter and family.
We had a great stay at this VRBO! The location was perfect for us, as it was in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, and they made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The home itself was a bit dated, but it was still very comfortable and had everything we needed for a home base. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this VRBO to others.
Quick weekend trip with my husband, son and 2 dogs went without a hitch at this property. Exactly as pictured nostalgic home with a pet friendly yard and all the necessities. The location is in an established neighborhood with easy access to anywhere in Dallas/Ft Worth area. I especially enjoyed the extensive book selection and the original photography displayed in the home. Would stay again if back in the area!
We appreciated the secured fenced backyard for our dog and great neighborhood for walking. Also close to White Rock Dog Park.
The front steps are in need of repair.
We stayed here for Christmas to visit relatives. Minutes from Dallas Arboretum/White Rock Lake with easy access to I-30. Great if you are traveling with pups. We had everything we needed. If you are a Gen X-er, this little house is going to bring back some memories!
We loved this stay. We like the travel with our dogs so this was a great spot for our family. We found some great eateries, (7 mile cafe, company cafe, sales Mexican, royal Thai), enjoyed the Christmas lights at the Dallas zoo, and for Floridians, the fall leaves were amazing to see! Great spot for our dogs to run and play out back. Even our son found some awesome sticks out back.
Definitely will keep this one on our list for the next trip to Dallas.
Karrie’s house was the perfect location for us… close to everything we were doing. The house is an older home but very clean and welcoming. The house has all the extras… shampoo, conditioner, soap, dishwasher detergent, baggies and trash bags… which is very helpful. This is our second stay at the house and we will definitely be back!
Charming vintage home close to Dallas Arbetoreum where we were attending a wedding. Karrie was a wonderful host and very responsive. House was large for 2 bedrooms and allowed pets which we needed. Overall great experience!
Perfectly adequate for what we needed for a few weeks as renovations on our house wrapped up. Excellent communication with owners, and when the keys slipped under the deck, they were extremely quick to reply and get us a spare. We found the property to be comfortably supplied and equipped with an eclectic but complete selection of items. Came with fast internet and lots of books to read. It's not fancy or stylish, but it's a pet-friendly, 50s ranch with some original detailing in a quiet, shady neighborhood - aside from the extremely dull knives and some rickety front steps, we were here for 3 weeks and had no complaints.
I needed a week to transition between selling one home and purchasing the next, so this fit perfectly! Cute older home in a quiet neighborhood, well appointed with everything you could need. The only thing that could have made it better was more restaurants/coffee shops/shopping around. The yard was nice for the pups, though the people before us had not been considerate enough to clean up after theirs so be careful the first time you walk out there!
We stayed at Kerrie’s house for 4 nights and very much enjoyed our stay!
The house is very cute and private, and they have a lot of nice art and good books to pass the time.
The kitchen was also very spacious and had everything you need to cook if you want.
The backyard was perfect for our dog- fully fenced in and safe for him to run around in.
And the neighborhood is very cute, quite, and felt very safe. Lots of nice trees to give you shade while going for a walk.
Not a bad drive to downtown even during rush hour.
Overall, great house, great host, and great location! We will stay here again if we return to Dallas. Thank you!
