Pictures are deceiving. Property is not as listed, and in an awful neighborhood. We opened the door to check in and we immediately walked back out locked up and found another house to stay in.
Stayed here for three nights and hosted a small wedding on one of the nights. The backyard is beautiful and so spacious. The house is located at the end of the street so it’s super private.
The inside of the house is beautiful too and there are so many beds.
Our team was in town for a tournament at Tampa Sportsplex. House was perfect for a large group of teens, especially having the dock and large yard for everyone to spread out. It is a lake house, so set expectations accordingly. I give it 5 stars because it was exactly as advertised and what I expected. Owner and local contact were very responsive.

Cute older place on water
Overall a cute place on the water. We had some issues with the cleanliness and structure of the place, but the owner addressed our problems and was quick to respond. We traveled with 2 elderly adults and steps leading up to door are very soft, so needed to be very careful (handrails loose also). House is unlevel and hard for someone with a cane to walk in some areas and front/back doors are hard to open/close due to this.
Plenty room For me and 10 freinds. Loved the dock and hot tubb. Everyone loved there stay!

Great atmosphere
The property it’s self was great! Amazing scenery. The cleanliness of the house was was under par- to very poor. Great for big groups has plenty of sleeping arrangements. All the kitchen supplies you can think of. Plenty to do in the area very centrally located right off the highway!

Short stay with Biological siblings
This is the first tome at this property. The overall picture on VRBO is of the back of the house. The outside of the front of the property was not appealing at all. Steps going into the main property is not stable. Th rails Inside was different & better. Had the inside looked like the outside, I probably would have requested a refund. The beds were comfortable. Lots of beds & space w/a Guest house (detached). Guest house does not have a stove or microwave. The roof leaks into the fireplace when it rains (no water leaked out). A step on one floor going upstairs is loose.

Anniversary stay
We enjoyed making memories with our family, some we can't see often due to distance so it was great to have everyone in one place. However, there were a lot of things that would make us not stay again. Safety issues, dirty dishes in tbe cabinets, not enough supplies, things falling off the walls that could hurt someone, front porch steps separating from house etc. The size was great but I would be afraid of someone getting hurt. We would probably stay again if things were fixed and different. Lots of things i.e. stores, restaurants nearby so that was a plus.
There was water damage in the In-law suite and the smell of mold and dampness was strong and horrible. You can see water stains on the walls above the trim and the floor is lifting in specific areas. We stayed between Hurricane Helene and Milton. Maybe the damage was from the hurricane, however, I contacted the host a few days before check-in and was told the property was fine. That being said, we had to re-arrange the sleeping arrangements in the main house as the suite was not usable.
The main house was not clean. They need to hire a new cleaning crew. To open and close the front and back doors are a challenge. The front door needs to be shaved so it can move over the floor. The back door is uneven and won't lock. There is a chain latch, however the chain is not long enough. In the main bathroom, the shower drain cover is not attached and can cause a fall or someone can get cut.
Although there were no bed bugs, they had a bed bug spray in the laundry closet. My thought is to keep that somewhere else where guests will not see it. Needless to say, we did not stay through the entire booking. The first night we arrived very late and decided to stay. The second day we had a wedding and no time to search for other accommodations. We left early on the 3rd day as we found better accommodations.
I reached out to the host multiple times and was told they would get back to me. After a week, still no response.
I would not recommend this house.
The amount of wildlife we saw was extraordinary. Stingrays flying through the water, pink birds called Roseate Spoonbills, big fish swimming by, and gorgeous tropical flowers in the morning. The only things to note is that there isn’t a trampoline and the screen for the porch has holes in it, so if it rains, expect some gnat bites in there. The hot tub was a little dirty upon arrival but Scott, our sweet neighbor and the property manager, cleaned it quickly because of Lisa’s super fast communication style between us. Some kitchen things weren’t super clean like the cutting board that has leftover barbecue stains and smells on one side, the coffee pot, which had leftover coffee still in there, the microwave, which had a breakfast sandwich in it, and the kitchen trash cans that had a diaper in one upon arrival. Didn’t bother us that much, we just looked at it like funny little surprises haha. The kitchen supplies and seasonings were better than most vacation homes I’ve stayed in, so A+ in that department! Also everything else was immaculately clean inside the house, loved the spaciousness too. Overall, this place is perfect if you want a relaxing house with great energy right by the water. Loved the little swing they have in the backyard and all the wonderful shower supplies they give you too. Thank you so much for hosting us! Truly such a great stay!

Good Place for Large Families!
Large home with lots of room. The neighborhood was a little drab, but once you got to the dead end it was nice. Close to the highway to get around to the air port and Tampa area. Riverview just a few miles away had lots of food choices and there was a Wal-mart right down the road. We arrived on Tuesday and all the outside garbage cans plus both recycle bins were full. Trash runs twice a week but Monday was a holiday so we had no where to put trash until Thursday. NONE of the beds had top sheets, but a quick text to the property manager and they were sent to us that day. We had a large group and filled the house plus the mother in law suite. There were spider webs in between the windows and blinds. Floors looked clean but our socks were black. Front door locked but did not seal. Kitchen is stocked with every appliance you can think of and lots of extras. Hand soaps seemed watered down and single ply toilet paper. There was odds and ends of toiletries left from past guests. Good for some, gross to others. Couch was in need of a good cleaning and super low to the ground. If you have elderly family members bring a comfy camping chair. Lots of hot water and towels. Air was nice and cold to beat the Florida heat. There are 2 turtles that live in the yard and the dock was a great hang out. We brought our paddle boards! All and all it was a great place to get our large group together and they are awesome to allow small gatherings however the cleaning crew could be more thorough.
