We really loved our stay in this cute North End house! The house was convenient and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked, with coffee and oatmeal for first day (we arrived late!) and with tools and appliances we needed for the week. The people in the other half of the duplex were quiet and polite. My only comments might be that it could use more towels: we were given 2 towels for the week, so did a lot of laundry; and we were in town to attend a wedding, so a full-length mirror would be a nice addition. Otherwise, comfy and easy! Thanks!
We loved the backyard, shaded patio. It was a nice place to have a morning coffee or read in the afternoons. The location of the house is great. Co-op grocery store is full of good food, 5 minute walk away. Downtown and restaurants was a 5 minute drive or a nice 20 minute walk.
Comfy house with your basic rental house items supplied but nothing above and beyond.
Overall, a great stay to enjoy Boise and especially if you value a quiet, relaxing backyard as a perk.
We came to the North End to have the option of walking to eat out and relax for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was a busy weekend for Boise, but the house was great. The mattress is very hard so that caused some back and neck issues, the window ac units made it hard to hear each other and the movies we wanted to watch, to get ready for a night out the bathroom does not have a place for a make up bag or to set cutting iron, etc.
Fantastic little house and great location in Boise
Located in the North End on a quiet street. Plenty of room for a couple and their bicycles. Flagstone back patio in a shady backyard and off street parking in the alley. There was some sharing of dinner smells from the front half duplex, but otherwise no problem. The downsides…the furnace fan was blowing cold air the entire time we were there and no obvious way to turn it off. No assistance from the management company even after contacting twice. Unrelenting white noise was ok, but certainly not ideal. The microwave blew up on our second day and our requests to replace were also ignored. Overall tho, a wonderful place and I would definately stay there again!
There were only two towels. There wasn’t an extra roll of toilet paper. We had to get one from family that we were visiting. The side vents of the window air conditioner had holes. We patched with trash bags and tape. It rained every day and we were concerned that rain would come in.
