Debra was an amazing host. She was so friendly and responsive. The cabin far exceeded or expectations. It was so adorable, quaint, cozy and comfortable. The outdoor area was full of everything that you need to relax and enjoy the quiet around you! I can't recommend this place enough I cannot wait to go back!
Clean, everything we needed was already there. Plenty of wood to keep the fireplace going for weekend and then some. There were 5 of us and 2 dogs and we had plenty of space to spread out play board, games, cook, and just relax, was great overall, sad to be back home. Communication was simple when i had a question, likely go back in a month or so when its warmer.
A bit cold for us Southerners and it was a short stay for us. Cozy cabin in a beautiful location with a lake nearby. Excellent communication and instructions from owner/manager.
Our stay at this Sussex getaway was nothing short of delightful. The location is picturesque, offering tranquility and proximity to the serene lake. The provided grill added a wonderful touch to our evenings, and the community was perfect for our morning walks. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful escape.
A beautiful cabin in a nice and quiet community. I stayed here with my boy Bruce (dog friendly)! The cabin had all the amenities you could ask for while still having that rustic and outdoorsy feel. It was my home base while in the area for the Spartan race and did not disappoint! Much of what the area has to offer was within a 20 minute drive. Debra was also very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
I was very impressed at the nostalgia of the cabin that had modern amenities. The host was very nice and had great communication. I would highly recommend this cabin to everyone.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. We also brought our little dog along. The cabin was so clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The proximity to the lake and having kayaks was awesome. We would love to stay again!
Despite two day long thunderstorm, we spend wonderful time: beautiful lake, great to swim and for kayaking; my teenager girls enjoyed diving board; unlike many other places we stayed in the past, good food supermarkets and many restaurants are nearby.

Very cozy cabin. The area near the lake is very peaceful and quiet. The grill on the deck is a big plus. The fireplace in the cabin is very nice and adds to a romantic atmosphere. We would definitely try to book a trip in Fall!
I was highly fortunate to hike multiple trails, all only a 10-15 minute drive from the cabin, All views were immaculate, and the Appalachian boardwalk trail was unforgettable. The house is gorgeous, in a perfect location, and the lake beside it is incredibly relaxing. You will not regret staying here.
Wonderful cabin in a nice lake community! Great wood stove/fireplace and plenty of heaters all around if you need! Much roomier inside than you would think! Perfect communication with very accommodating owner…check in process couldn’t have been easier. On a rainy weekend the streaming tv saved the day!
My husband, daughter (12), and I had an amazing time with our dog at Debbie’s log cabin. It looks small from the outside, but the inside is surprisingly big! The home FAR EXCEEDED our expectations, the photos do not do the place justice! It’s an open plan kitchen, dining room & living room, fully equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed walking our dog through the Lakeside neighborhood, relaxing in the home with the fireplace burning, and were close enough to Mountain Creek to go snowboarding. A great place all in all! Thank you Debbie!
This was the perfect location for a quiet weekend away from home. Despite the authenticity of the log cabin, the Wi-Fi and televisions were great amenities. A full kitchen allowed us the freedom to cook our meals and the fireplace plus heaters made sure we stayed toasty through the night. Debra is a great host, very welcoming and communicative through the whole process, would definitely recommend.
