The Log Cabin is 20 min from down town Tyler, 2 miles from Tyler State Park, half a mile from the world renown Tiger Wild Life Refuge and 4 miles from I-20, right in between Dallas and Shreveport about a hour and a half each way. Our Log cabin is complete with wifi and walking trails, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and beautiful rustic home furnishings. We have a king bed in the loft and a queen bed down stairs in the bedroom while the fully furnished living room has a nice size flat screen TV (direct tv) with DVD player and a wood burning stove to keep you cozy. There is even a fire pit out back to enjoy the ambience of the Pines. It is the perfect Ritz in the woods and we would love to share our little piece of paradise with you.

Cute cabin in the woods. The loft was a bit hot compared to bottom floor bedroom. Kitchen had all cooking utensils I needed. Good location near lake Hawkins.
We absolutely loved the cabin. It is in a great location, easy to access, and still provides the cabin in the wood feel. The host was very flexible, and the cabin was fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
We enjoyed the quietness away from the traffic of dfw. Cora's cabin was perfect for us. We really enjoyed jeremy giving us a tour of the 178 acre ranch. Close to tyler and 2 miles from tyler state park.
What an amazing little property! This cabin was perfect for our shopping trip to Canton! We had plenty of room for 4 adults to move around and not be on top of each other. The back porch/yard area is absolutely adorable! Decorated with lights, a fire pit, chairs and a grill. We had plenty of supplies and the camp host double check to make sure we didn’t need anything else! Totally recommend this cabin to everyone!
Cora's Main Log Cabin was just what we needed. The cabin was in great shape, very clean and welcoming. We had a much-needed weekend to relax and get away for a weekend.
Simple cabin getaway from civilization. Convienent but not next to many things. Wished we had better weather to maximize the stay. Recommend it to anyone for simple pleasures
Beautiful Cabin, very cozy and love the outdoor vibe.
Wasn't here for a vacation really, but the scenery and beautiful property was great to take my mind off of the real reason we needed to come to East Texas and even the kids loved how cozy it was. Wi-fi was pretty slow so was difficult to do remote work and the dish network only had a few good channels. Would have loved to have a way to connect to Netflix or some other streaming apps but unfortunately it wasn't a possibility for us.
This cabin was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The location was close to Lindale where we had dinner at a great restaurant. I will definitely book this cabin again.
Cora's Main Cabin was exactly what we were looking for - a quiet, comfortable place in a scenic country setting to escape from the hectic pace of the Dallas metroplex. The front porch rocking chairs to watch the cows across the road, with beautiful sunsets. The tall pine trees added to the restful atmosphere. The cabin was well attended and had everything essential. We drove 15 minutes to Lindale a couple of times eat out, but mostly stayed at the cabin. We left refreshed and rested.
Cora's Log Cabin was satisfying beyond expectations! Very spacious, with ample room for 4, stunning architecture and charming, high quality, craftsy accents inside and out. it's nestled in a forest setting, and placed at a comfortable distance from 3 other cabins on the property for othr visitors. This can easily be a site for family reunion, special occasion festivity or extended family weekend. It is also only a couple of miles from Tyler State Park, where camping, hiking trails, fishing are available.
Bathroom was not as private for 4 people. Sink was outside tub and toilet area and no door to close all of the area off. All in all was a nice clean property
Overall, we really loved this cabin and enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful things: wood stove, oversized checkers set, very comfortable king bed in a lovely loft, excellent hot water in the shower, charming architectural details, complimentary wine and snacks, lovely gas stove, tasteful decor, heat/AC, quiet atmosphere, nice porch overlooking a meadow, friendly local dog
Not so great: the chairs in the living room all had stains on the seats, which honestly made me afraid to sit on them. A few slipcovers would do wonders there. Previous reviews about cobwebs/spiders are indeed accurate, but that's something I kind of expect in a cabin anyway, so no big deal. Overall these things were not a big deal... but it would have been nice to have been able to use the chairs.
The property was exactly as advertised. I did notice when we entered the cabin it just didn't look or feel clean. Then I notices cobwebs in the window corners and on the sill. The front windows were so dirty, doesn't look as if they had been cleaned in a year, you could barely see out of them. We wiped down everything and would have done that anyway even if it was hospital clean. Beside the cleanliness issue it was a great place to stay and relax. My wife and I had a great time and "recharged".
It was nice log cabin near Tyler State Park, it has all required amenities for a family. Very easy check in and had great stay. Exactly as shown in the listing.
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The only negative comment I have is dirty windows with dead bugs and spiderwebs on the insides of the windows. There was no hand soap in the kitchen so we bought some for our use. We would like to come again in the fall.
The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We used the front porch and the back deck. It was nice having separate areas to relax in (i.e. comfortable living room, downstairs bedroom, upstairs bedroom/loft, kitchen). We loved that it was only a 10 min drive to Tyler State Park so we could hike and then relax back at the cabin. Very calming and just what we needed!
The pictures on their website just don’t do justice to this cabin. We loved the deck and fire pit. The cabin was roomy and clean with everything you need. We had a wonderful time!
What a beautiful & relaxing place to stay. Our favorite was sitting on front porch watching the cows. Harlan the owner was extremely welcoming & invited us to see his ranch down the road which is like something out of a magazine.
