Lovely winter escape on the Saco

We had such a nice stay after the winter holidays here! The home is exactly as noted, and we found it spacious and clean. My husband and I spent 4 days cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, reading in the sunlight living room, listening to the river as we lounged in the hot tub, and snuggling up in front of the fireplace on chilly nights. Just perfect!

Ski trip to Attitash

House was very clean and a great size for our group of parents w/ 2 college age kids and 2 of their friends. It was super convenient just a few miles to Attitash ski area. Found beds very comfortable and hot tub was clean. We were able to bring our dog which saved money vs a dog sitter.

Riverbend

We absolutely loved this home.. We went with our 2 collies that had the best time ever. We encountered a situation enroute when our car broke down and had to be towed to a local car dealership. The tow driver was able to deliver us to our destination but then we were unable to rent a car so needed to use the local taxi service. Our checkout was supposed to be on a Wednesday but on Monday, we found out that the car wouldn’t be ready till after that . Luckily, there was no one booked till Friday so we were able to extend our stay. The representative we spoke to was so helpful with this unexpected and unplanned situation. We are so grateful. Also we ended up being able to rent a car till then as well Actually our car was ready Thursday, so we had 2 extras to enjoy the beautiful area and this beautiful property . The only negative issue we had was with the elock .. was very unreliable with unlocking

Family weekend getaway

My family stayed for 2 nights in August. For the most part the house was great, right on the river just as advertised. There are plenty of places for everyone to sit and relax. My only complaint was what appeared to be water damage in the basement. The carpet was ripped out of the sitting room and just thrown outside, it could have been thrown away and not left as an eye sore.

Excellent location

I rented this house both last summer and this summer and had a blast. It’s super open and spacious, with a huge kitchen and deck. Great for groups. Only downside is the hot tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since my stay in 2023. That needs to be addressed. Otherwise a 10/10!

Great location

River access is a little tricky but easy enough for able body people. Spacious living areas. Washer dryer is a plus. It's an older dryer but works great. Central location to Barlett, North Conway, Jackson, and Mt. Washington.

Perfect location near lots of fun stuff

This house was perfect for our family & pups. Quiet neighborhood, right on the river. 10-15 minutes from most things- downtown No Conway, restaurants, trails, Diana's Baths, Echo Lake... The hot tub was used a lot, loved that there was a box fan and hair dryer available in the upstairs bedroom. Also floats available to use in the garage, and a fire pit in the backyard to sit and chat around.

Perfect Riverfront vacation

We stayed at the riverbend house for a quick family vacation, and were impressed with the location and the comfort in the house. The location on the river could not be beat, as we spend much time down on the rocks and tubing the river. The jacuzzi overlooking the river was a welcome way to start and end our days. The house was very comfortable for our family, with very clean linens and towels available. I would definitely come back to this house, as it was a lovely place to call home for our mountain trip.

Great place, great location

Highly recommend this place. The location is awesome, direct access to a great spot on the river and you can even take a walk down the road and drop into the river and float down to the house. We had so much fun here, and will definitely return. There were plenty of blankets, towels, beach towels, TP for a long weekend, but you may want to bring paper towels with you, since they do not provide these. You'll just have whatever is left on the roll from the last guest.

Perfect 4th of July getaway

This property was the perfect size for my family for a short 4th getaway. We love the Conway NH area and it was nice to be right on the Saco river. The hot tub was a great bonus and I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to access the river through a stairway in the back yard of the property. The back deck was the perfect spot to wind down and relax at night, but also wake up and listen to the river while having a cup of coffee in the morning. Luckily it wasn’t too hot without AC and the fans kept us cool at night. Would definitely stay at this property again!

Great location, and space

We really liked this rental. Great location for skiing and for relaxing. The kitchen is a good size, the views of the river and mountains where awesome. The hot tub was a major bonus, however, bring your own towels or you'll need to use the same towels for bathing/showering and the hot tub.

Great location, but older home that is lacking TLC

My husband and I stayed at this home with our two children, 4 and 7, for a ski vacation in late February. The home is in an ideal location for this type of activity - only 3 minutes to Attitash and less than 20 minutes to Wildcat. And the view of the river from the back deck is very pretty. Unfortunately though, our experience here had a lot more negatives than positives. The master loft area bed is very uncomfortable. We weren't actually able to sleep in it after trying for two nights. There is no actual door on the bathroom upstairs (just a folding shutter) and no door going down to the basement bedroom so privacy and noise is a big issue. Although the home is shown and advertised as having a fireplace, you are not permitted to use it. This was not made clear and should be explained before booking. The back deck had hoses and other outdoor equipment on it and had no been cleared of snow so there was no way to use the space. There is flooring missing downstairs and there was carpeting piled up outside. It looks like they may have recently experienced significant water damage and be in the midst of trying to fix it, but more work is needed. There were lightbulbs out in many places. Overall, while this home is in a great location, there is lot of wear and tear and it doesn't appear to be very well taken care of. I think if some updates were made (e.g., replacing beds and adding doors), this could make a big difference.

Ambience is enjoyable

My dad, mom, sister and myself wanted a getaway for the Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed our stay. The home is welcoming. The beds, furniture and outside deck are comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ambience of the property overlooking the Saco river. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely House - Terrible Service and FILTHY

The home and location is lovely, right on the river, quiet and private. Walking distance to Bartlett Covered Bridge. Comfortable and good sized. Loft bedroom was big and great for us (but open to living area) BUT some things need to change. Cleanliness and Local Service worst we've ever experienced - see detail below. Home itself needs some love and a refresh - unable to turn off the old air-heating vent in the bathroom blowing a cold gale in the bathroom, utensils and equipment need to be better - mismatched and simply missing - knife block with a single knife for example. The downstairs bedroom is big, but a bit odd and characterless with the view from the doors the messy underneath of the decking area, and with an unlocked door into the basement workshop with tools, paint, chemicals, boiler, etc, this would be unsafe (and scary!) for children - likewise the strong hottub chemicals left on the kitchen floor not safe..
