Great Unique Place Outside of Town
This place is great! It’s an old refurbished gas station. Don’t let that fool you. If I didn’t tell you you’d never know it - until maybe you arrive and look at the front. It’s laid out really nice, very clean. 1 large bedroom and large bath, large kitchen and living area. You walk out the back door from the master, down the steps, into a good sized washroom. From there you can go out the back door to the large backyard. It has a nice seating area covered with a canopy. There’s a grill and burn pit, and a nice hot tub to relax in. There’s some talk about getting here with GPS. I’ll make it simple for you. It’s 9.8 miles south of Fredericksburg on Hwy 87. It’s exactly halfway between Fredericksburg and Comfort on the east side of the road. We actually rode out a bad winter blast in this place. It was as low as 14 degrees and this place stayed toasty warm. Management was very responsive on the VRBO app. The only thing I wish was the basement ‘The Pit’ of the old gas station was unlocked - but since it was an old gas station I can understand why it’s not. 5 Stars!!
