The house is only about 20 minutes to downtown Charleston and about the same to Folly Beach and a few minutes away to Angel Tree Park. This is by far the nicest house, we have stayed in using VRBO this year. The only issue I had was the initial email for check-in wasn’t sent by VRBO, so I had to reach out to the owners, who responded quickly.i would recommend
Exactly what we were looking for: a contemporary, single family house, fully equipped for a multigenerational extended stay. Easy access to Charleston and its environs.

Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Nice property and building, owner non communicative
We asked the owner a few questions regarding some specific advice on what was needed prior to our trip (ie hair dryer, etc). We got no answer. The bigger concern is that one key was made available, if it was lost it during a day trip we would be in a desperate situation. The home, though is new, clean and in good shape.
This is a great place to stay. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood , but only a short distance away from everything you need to enjoy your vacation.
It was an amazing place to stay in John’s Island. Perfect location, just a short drive away from so much. Lots of space and privacy from neighbors. Beds were so comfortable and lots of space for a nice stay.
My family and I had a great time in Charleston,SC. The house was great and had everything we needed. The manager is very responsive when I had questions about the house. Very clean!!! Would definitely recommend to my friends, family, and everyone else looking for a place for vacation to stay.
Our family (3 kids and a hound) really enjoyed our week here. The house was plenty big for all of us and we enjoyed the more rural setting with easy access (< 30 minutes drive) to downtown Charleston, Kiawah Island, and Folly Beach. There was plenty of space, and the neighborhood was quiet enough that it was easy to walk the dog.
Our son was moving out of his house in the adjacent neighborhood and we all needed a place to stay while we cleaned and packed up his house. It was just a few blocks away, the house was just what we needed: close, clean, and quiet.
Nice house but it was missing essentials - not enough towels for 9ppl. The kitchen didn’t have enough plates, pots etc. it wasnt cleaned very well either.
This property is amazing! Lots of space and a great location, close to many cool restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. We had 5 adults and 2 dogs, everything was perfect and we had plenty of room. The only thing lacking was extra cookware and enough dishes for more than 4 people, as we cooked and ate our Thanksgiving dinner there.
Large beds were super comfortable but bunk bed mattresses were rough. Decor was very nice and there were lots of little touches that made it feel homey.
I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Derek!!
This was the worst experience we have ever had and we have stayed at more than 50 VRBO units.
We asked numerous times for check in but only got a code for the garage which did not work. I called numerous times before reaching a rude person who said I should be calling his brother, who's number is not given. When I reached the brother he first told me it had been working but then told me to enter the back sliding door because they had problems with the garage. The TV all look great but none are set up and you have to have a google account to sign in. Fancy fridge but water and ice don't work, fancy light switches with no info how to use, no info on the house sent. The showers in both bath rooms don't work properly. The water cuts off completely between ice cold and scalding hot. Internet stopped working and I sent a text to owner. He complained I had bothered him at a meeting, and when he did call back I was at a dinner for my grandson and he justified all their bad communications on the fact I did not answer his call when I was at a family meal. Was told they would send check out information but it was never sent and when I sent them a private email to tell them how they could improve he wrote back a nasty email telling me to write a bad review because he didn't care if his tenants were satisfied. We have not only stayed at hundreds of units and given almost all of them good reviews we have a number of units and we would never ever treat a guest as these two immature brothers who care nothing about their guest other than getting their money.
We went to our niece’s wedding at the Island House in James Island,SC- this was the perfect location! Great restaurants around us - just very convenient!!!
Plenty of room
Comfortable beds
Large fenced backyard
Quiet neighborhood
Close to food options
20-25 minutes or so to downtown Charleston & Folly Beach
Definitely recommend!
Enjoyed our stay, house is roomy, clean and check in process was easy. Would recommend if you need a place to stay that is about 30 minutes away from anything Charleston related.
Good place to stay on Johns Island. It was close to restaurants and businesses, clean and comfortable. It was very convenient for the dogs with the fenced in back yard. We'd stay there again.
