Great Stay

We stayed here during a hospital stay of a friend at University Hospital. It was awesome being so close and in such a quiet and homey place. Would definitely stay again!

Great Time!

Went to Kansas City for a girls trip and this house was perfect! Very clean and spacious. Jeff was also very helpful and answered any questions we had timely. Overall a great stay!

Nice layout, poor communication

We liked the property-it had the space we needed for two families (sisters and their families). However, we were charged for a broken lock and doorknob which was not our doing. The property manager also never got back to us on an item we left behind and asked it be looked for. Location was ok, house was ok, host was very much just ok.

Perfect for our needs

This was a perfect fit for our family gathering, wasn't looking to get out but it was close to Crossroads Art district. House was perfect, very clean and laid out perfectly. Would recommend and will be back if the need arises. Property manager was over the top responsive which was appreciated.

Family Friendly-Fun Games

My kids had a great time playing with all their games. And they had the 3rd floor all to themselves. They lived like royalty while we were there. The location was great for our convention center stay. We only had 1 issues and the owner was very quick to help and we were back up and running with a great weekend! High reccomend! tonia

Cute place

This home is in a great location with easy access to all the activities we wanted to do. The neighborhood is quiet. You can tell that it has had some rough times but many of the homes have been or are in the process of being remodeled. This home has great space for a whole family. In fact, our multigenerational family was very comfortable. The kids loved the game room. The kitchen is well equipped. It was nice and clean.

KC vacation

This house is equipped with everything you need for a stay, lots of bath towels which was nice for our larger party. We were disappointed in the back yard due to the mulberry tree dropping mulberries everywhere. Our younger grandchildren loved all the games that were there to play. Jeff is very fast to respond to any question you may have. This is a very charming and updated house.

Better than a hotel

Jeff was quick to respond multiple times throughout our stay. My group was 12 (3 groups of 4) and we managed to give each group their own space utilizing this huge house's multiple nooks and crannies (and included air mattresses). Appreciated the espresso machine in particular and comfortable memory foam mattresses. Vibe-wise don't expect anything like "cozy" - the decor is modern VRBO that an algorithm might have 3D printed. Nothing that would indicate than a human lives in the house for more than a few nights. Which suited our needs fine. Kitchen was well-stocked.

We had a great experience! The house was the perfect fit for our party of 10 adults!

We were in town for a wedding. The home was just as described. Very clean and comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities. The game room was a huge fit! Only 2 suggestions:: hooks for bath towels in the bathrooms and a larger water heater. We had to carefully time the showers as hot water ran out after 2 showers.

Family Christmas rental

We rented this house to gather for our family Christmas. It was the perfect place! The house was newly remodeled, clean and very nice. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we loved the back game room to gather, play games and hang out. Jeff did a nice job of communicating pertinent information to us. Would definitely recommend!!

Perfect weekend getaway

Perfect size

We were a little delayed on check-in due to a communication issue with the cleaning company, but Jeff was great with communication and it all really worked out well in the end. He made it right. The house fit our size group well with room to spare.

Great Experience, Great Owner

We came to Kansas City for a chiefs game and couldn’t be more happier with the decision of staying at this property. Owner was very responsive. Property had plenty of space. And there was a big group of us. Lots of construction going on in the neighborhood. Seemed like wasn’t far from anything we wanted to do. We would definitely rent again.

I grew up in Portland, OR and I’m a product of that Pacific Northwest upbringing - love the great outdoors (especially skiing, fly fishing, camping, and hiking), travel, good food, and craft beer.

I currently live in beautiful Truckee, CA just a stone’s throw from Lake Tahoe, world-class skiing, and some amazing backpacking and fly fishing. I’d love to host you in Tahoe or in the Mid West, and love to explore new places as well!

Why they chose this property

There's so much I love about this property, we stay here with friends and family often and it's an amazing place to be! You're incredibly close to everything Kansas City has to offer. Whether you're in town for a Chiefs or Royals game, want to visit Legoland with the kids (.5 mi away), want to shop, eat great BBQ, or visit breweries we're close to it all. It's recently renovated (as of 2022), so you won't get the usual quirks of an older home like several others in KC.
