Designer Renovated Classic FL Mid-Century Home - Walk to Hist Ctr!
Welcome to our recently renovated cool and stylish mid-century modern home! We bought this place because we think this is the best location in St. Augustine - walking distance to all the action but the benefits of a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The house lies on one of the best streets on Anastasia Island with expensive waterfront homes. The house is only a 5 minute walk to the Bridge of Lions and another 5 minutes to the historic center. Recently renovated and decorated with designer touches throughout by its' architect owner. With the water being only a few hundred feet away, the house often receives nice regular breezes in the afternoons that gently sway the palm trees in the front yard.
Please note that the 4th bedroom doubles as a TV room between hallway and primary bedroom and there are doors to separate them from one another. The space has lounge chairs that convert to twin beds. Given potential privacy issues since you have to go through this space to get to the primary bedroom, it tends to woek best for kids or close family members.

We stayed here with our family and this place was perfect. It was extremely clean, well decorated and you couldn’t beat the location. Scott was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I will absolutely come back and stay again.
Very nice! We enjoyed our stay, the place and the neighborhood. Anastasia Island was great with the location of the rental, small and walkable to the historic district on the Bridge of the Lions.
The place was clean, well appointed and perfect for us-even though the place was bigger than we needed. Great connection with the owner who was quickly and easily available. Highly recommend.
Cute mid century home with huge primary bedroom and bath. A bit of a walk to old St Augustine so bring your walking shoes. Outside patio is serene and private, perfect for relaxing. The weather was nice and cool but we couldn’t open windows due to no screens. Besides that everything was great.
We had a wonderful time in this quiet residential neighborhood, literally just over the bridge from the historic area of St. Augustine. The house was very clean, had all the necessities, and worked well for the 3 of us. Note that the "fourth" bedroom is really a TV room with 2 chairs that fold out into twin beds, and that to get to the master you must go through this room. There are two courtyards, and the back one is just perfect for a quiet morning or afternoon. The house isn't large (except for the enormous master suite and bath, which seems to have been added on at some point), but it is charming, well decorated (and not over decorated) and functional. The hall bath is quite small, but two of us shared the master bath, which has enough room to host a square dance, so that worked out well. There are enough TVs to keep any number of people happy (I think five). The location is perfect -- just over the Bridge of Lions from the historic district (you could easily walk), close to restaurants on both sides of the bridge, and only about 10 minutes from the beach. The owner was very responsive and we had no problems at all. Loved it, and will happily go back again next winter.

I'm an architect from Atlanta specializing in the design of modern homes. I was attracted to this home for it's mid-century character and unique layout with two lovely courtyards.
Why they chose this property
The house is on one of the best streets in St. Augustine and on the part of Anastasia Island closest to the historic district and Lions Bridge. Walking distance to all the action but just far enough from all the crowds/craziness of the historic district.
