Wanted to go to crater of diamonds for my birthday didn't want to stay to far away from there this was the perfect place. This place was better than the pictures would stay there again if it was closer to Ohio.
Tim was great in communication, friendly to book with and helpful. This cute little cabin was perfect for a family of 4 and our Great Dane. Great place to stay! We will book here our next visit!
This was a great location for Crater of Diamonds (less than 5 min drive). Rustic cabin gave my family the feel of staying in a mining camp. Will definitely be returning.
The cabin was approximately 2 minutes from the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Made it very easy to get there and back especially after a long hot day of mining. Tim was very responsive to messages and very accommodating. He stopped by to introduce himself and ask if there was anything we needed. Plan on renting again!!
The cabin was as described, check in was super easy, communication was super. The cabin was convenient to both the park as well as the town. Very quiet, had fire pit and grill, as well as screens that you could use to hunt diamonds. Great stay, had deer behind the cabin. Definitely a discover. Many thanks to the owner.
It was our second time staying here this year.
Love that we can bring our dog and nice yard area to walk him.
One thing that hasn't changed since our last stay was the driveway coming in. If you drive a pickup truck not a big deal but some of the bumps are hard on your car if you forget to dodge them.
That being said, we still won't hesitate to come back here when we can.
We really enjoyed it there was really nice close to everything and we were allowed to bring our fur babies when we come back hopefully it will be available
My brother and I needed a place to stay for our visit to Crater of Diamonds while on a road trip, and this was a perfect size for the two of us! Clean and comfortable, pretty good wifi, good-sized tv, and nice bathroom with a good shower. Really strong air conditioner! Both beds are in the same room (one full and one twin). Some dishes/cutlery provided along with a small fridge with a freezer in the kitchen area. There were also a few tools to use at the mine, though I would still recommend renting or buying your own. Thanks for a great stay!!
Was a nice little cabin within 3 minutes out the crater. Quiet and beautiful spot. A/C was cold and shower was decent size with good water pressure. Got to meet the owner in person and was very pleasant to chat with. Highly recommend for small families looking to ‘camp’ close to crater and easier on younger children to stay.
Convenient location for anyone looking to get some time at the Crater of Diamonds park!
Cabin was cozy, and in a prime location for the Crater of Diamonds park and the town of Mufreesboro. I highly recommend this place for any other rock hounding nerds out there like myself!
Was the perfect size for privacy and location. Close to the eating places along with the Diamond mine. They allowed dogs which was great since we travel with ours will stay here again if in the area.
We stayed two nights in April 2024, just looking for a cheap place to get out of the rain after mining and that's what we got. The location was not within walking distance to the Crater of Diamonds as advertised. The furnishings were dated and the place was in need of a good cleaning, especially the bathroom/shower area. The host was very friendly and accomodating, and the place is pet friendly, but next time I would spend a few bucks more and stay elsewhere.
