This house was perfect for our ATV trip. Plenty of space for everyone, very comfortable common area, easy access to town and trails, and a million dollar view. This would also be somewhere a family could make great memories together.
What can I say? Wow! We were a party of 11 friends/family who gathered to experience the solar eclipse. The spacious great room and outside deck provided ample space to eat, lounge, play. It never felt cramped. A bank of floor to ceiling windows showcased an incredible view of Mt. Katahdin. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, pots and pans, utensils, a large fridge, induction stove and a dishwasher. There's a pool table, darts, plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas. The master bedroom has a private deck, also with mountain views. The yard is enormous but too soft/muddy at that time to use.
While we were there, we experienced not only the eclipse, but also a 65th birthday party and a surprise engagement announcement! It's the perfect place for friends and family to gather. Highly recommend!!!
We booked this trip for snowmobiling and the unusual lack of snow year made this impossible. The host was great and helped us plan some alternate activities in the area. The house and property were beautiful. Location was great. We will definitely try to book again another year!
We were a group of 12, plenty of space inside and out. We rode right from the house and the riding was great! The house is perfect with a gorgeous view of Katahdin! Shawn and Penny were awesome! We will definitely be back!
