The minute you walk into this riverfront retreat, you will fall in love with the comfortable furnishings and the huge windows, featuring amazing views of the Payette river and surrounding mountains. Enjoy our Hot Springs, salt water hot tub on the patio, while enjoying the river. Each bedroom faces the river and if you leave your window open, you'll fall asleep to the sound of the river. The main home sleeps 6 adults in 3-bedrooms + a separate apartment for 2, complete with an efficiency kitchen, a queen bed + a day bed.

This home is very private as adjoining property on both sides of home also belongs to owners. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, with 7.8 miles of non-motorized trails on site for hiking and cycling.

This riverfront home features 4 bedrooms + basement. The main home features an additional den and wine room. This home is a wonderful retreat just minutes from downtown McCall. Enjoy a private enclosed deck off the master, a beautiful, well equipped kitchen for cooking and entertaining with just the right amount of privacy, perfect for families.

The patio features two large tables , with a view, unsurpassed that will be cause for most meals to be enjoyed outside. Our guests can't get enough of the view, and peaceful serenity of the Payette River.

Enjoy fishing or canoeing directly from the property, or just enjoy the peaceful sound of the river and eagles soaring through the pines. Winter brings skiing and snowmobiling opportunities throughout the area.

The main level features a fireplace and large living room, featuring large plate glass windows to enjoy the view. the dining area features a large table for your entire family.

The upper level features a beautiful master suite and private, enclosed patio. A separate guest bedroom with its own private patio completes the upper level. If you've got work to do, a desk and comfortable chair is located on the upper level as well.

A separate entry from the garage, features a casita with an efficiency kitchen, queen bed and day bed + 3/4 bath.

This is the perfect place for long lasting memories, family reunions, or corporate retreats. This riverfront home is warm, comfortable, spacious and offers some of the most beautiful views you have ever seen being on the river, without the noise of boats on the lake! Surrounded by beautiful mountains this area offers plenty of fun activities for the entire family. There is the marina, downtown shopping, coffee houses, gourmet and home-style restaurants, water or winter sports. Experience the great outdoors with nearby skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, golfing, hiking, biking, river rafting and kayaking, fishing, boating, jet skiing, sunbathing, wildlife, natural hot springs and much more. There are over 200 lakes within a 30 mile radius.

Alpine and Cross-country skiing are close by at Brundage Mountain (8 miles) and Tamarack Resort (20 miles).

We love McCall, and we loved our stay in your cabin!!! Came up from Utah for fall break, and we loved every minute. From trying out some unique local experiences (like Burgdorf hot springs, lunch in Warren, and enjoying Brown Park), to just relaxing in the cabin and watching a family of otter play in the river while a bald eagle flew by, every experience was wonderful. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin! - it was comfortable and well-stocked. A great retreat.

This house is stunning. It’s a large home with a cozy cabin like feel. The views of the Payette from the living room, dining room and downstairs bedroom are astounding. The property manager and owner were quick to respond with answers to my questions. Great place to get away too with lots of trails around and the Activity Barn too!

Mark's property was amazing. There was plenty of room to convene indoors and outdoors. The view is really special and the majority of our time was spent outside. The kitchen was well stocked for meals and there is an abundance of glassware for drinks.

Beautiful house on Payette River

This is a great property in a secluded quiet neighborhood just moments from McCall. We have stayed here twice and love the property. Beautiful view of the river from anywhere in the house and back deck. Rooms all updated nicely, beds are comfortable, AC which is a must when there is the occasional hot day. This is our first choice when coming to McCall.

Best Vacation Ever

If you're looking for a great vacation, this home will certainly provide the setting. I can't say which is more spectacular, the home itself or the views from the home. Starting with the home, it's very spacious so you'll never feel crowded or cramped. The 3 full bathrooms plus extra powder room make it easy for several people to get ready at the same time. It was very clean and provided everything needed for our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and provided everything we needed. It was nice to find the staples on hand - plastic wrap, foil, basic spices, olive oil - this hasn't been our experience at some homes we've rented. The bedrooms are large and wonderfully furnished. The mudroom attached to the garage is the perfect staging area for gearing up or drying ski gear over night. The views from the home are just breath-taking. We were always drawn to the large picture windows overlooking the river, hoping to see deer at the river again or the bald eagle on its way to or from its nest. On our first full day at the home our 18 year old son was sitting on the bench staring out the window. My husband asked, "what are you doing?" He replied, "taking in the view." It's spectacular. The home is located just minutes outside of McCall and a short drive to Brundage. An unexpected bonus was its location to the Activity Barn, a great place for tubing & family fun. There's a market and large RiteAid minutes from the home should you need anything. Mark, the owner, was fantastic to work with. He responded very quickly with any questions we had prior to booking and prior to our arrival. The care-taker of the home was also great to work with. You won't go wrong staying at this home during your vacation to McCall. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Breathtaking View!

River View was a spectacular property inside and out! The view over the Payette River was so serene and peaceful that you were lulled into a very restful state. Seeing the eagle soar back and forth over the river was a real bonus as well as the sounds of the many birds inhabiting the area. As a matter of fact, we cancelled two nights of dinner reservations just to be able to sit outside, grill out and savor the quiet! However, we were surprised on two things-upon arrival, there was no shampoo or body wash (even the hotel size samples) and the bathroom between the two bedrooms upstairs was a "Jack and Jill" which would have made it difficult for two couples to share! Mark was a very attentive host and responded quickly to any questions we had prior to our stay. Be sure to check out the sitting area off the master bedroom for another elevated view of the valley below! I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed with this property!

Dream Mountain Home

The home is located in a small quiet neighborhood just outside downtown McCall, Idaho. The homeowner spared no expense with quality furniture, comfortable mattresses and luxurious bedding. The view of the river is captured by almost every room in the home. My children and I went for a walk in the neighborhood and a deer just jumped out of the brush and trotted right in front of us. It was only for a few days but it was a bucket list item to experience Idaho in that manner. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Views - Beautiful Home

This house was magical to stay at, what a beautiful home. Even though our time in McCall was short, there is so much to do in this area. The views from the deck and all the windows were incredible. We experienced some wildlife while enjoying the outside deck at sunset. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was immaculate, clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable, and great water pressure in the showers. We loved the Jack and Jill bathroom upstairs. The kitchen was great. Every gadget you need to prepare a great meal was available ! We would stay here again. Very safe. Close to town. A very nice VRBO. Thanks !

summer get away

Wonderful house, location and what a view. when I saw the pictures of the house online, the view sold me and it didn’t disappoint. We spent hours just sitting on the patio looking at the river. We saw eagles, deer, an otter and tons of birds soaring. Everything in the house was perfect as well. Wonderful kitchen, stocked with all we would need. Enjoyed the sitting room upstairs for morning coffee with a view. The location was close enough to town, but so quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful view

We stayed at the property with our grown children (seven adults) There was plenty of space. The property was spacious, furniture was in excellent shape (though a bit dated). Beds were ok as far as comfort, not great. Bedding (duvet cover and pillow shams) in main bedroom is a fabric that needs to be possible dry cleaned, so we were unsure of its cleanliness. There were many light bulbs out or missing in the bedrooms, so that was a bit awkward. There is also carpet in the main floor bathroom that is attached to the bedroom on that floor. That is just wrong, no bathroom should be carpeted especially one that is in a rented home. We avoided using it for that reason. Bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom, which is just a poor design of the home. The view of the river was wonderful and very peaceful at night. It would be nice if the windows in the main room opened, there was no way to get fresh air or hear the river from that room. The bedroom windows did open so we were able to do that at night. There is also no ice in the refrigerator (not hooked up to water or ice) so we had to purchase a bag for our beverages. If you have someone sleeping in the basement (which is nicely furnished and finished) it is freezing if the air conditioner is on. We had to turn on the air conditioner because the windows do not open in the main room, so be prepared, we did find extra blankets. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Wonderful Payette River View

This was a very relaxing vacation for our family. We enjoyed the beautiful river view mornings and evenings and watched as blue heron and deer families lived in the scene below us. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the spacious kitchen area and eating together at the large tables inside and outside. Very special!

Lovely Home on the River

So many positive aspects of this home. the owners were very organized, the facility was beautiful all instructions and access were super easy and clear. Everything was as advertised 100%. To clarify 3 stars on cleanliness. the home was extremely clean! However, it seemed to have an inordinate amount of spiders INSIDE the house on ceilings, even for a mountain location. Some of our guests were a little unnerved. Overall outstanding people to deal with and a great experience at the house.

Absolutely Incredible!

Just got back from our first trip to McCall. Wishing we were still there! This house is beautiful. Extremely well appointed kitchen, dining and living spaces. Bedrooms are very spacious, mattresses are awesome and linens are extremely nice as well. The back patio is simply majestic! The views are never forgetting and the sounds of the river was therapeutic. My teenage boys were able to make it down to the river from the back patio several times. It was very steep and not something for small kids or seniors. There is fishing down below as well as a 4 minute drive to the Bureau of Land Management river access point. McCall is so beautiful and quaint. We dined in 6-7 restaurants and food was terrific as well as the service. Grocery was 6 minute drive and Payette Lake was only 5 min away. I highly encourage anyone considering renting this lovely place to do so. We will again for sure!

I'm an avid pilot and enjoy flying Idaho's backcountry to camp and explore the area's beautiful wilderness.

Why they chose this property

This is the most beautiful area in McCall and we enjoy the peace and quiet of the river. Nothing compares to this property in terms of home quality, views, the peace and quiet found here, free from boat noise of the lake. Watching the eagles soar above the river, our resident blue Herron rest, and dear cross the river, all make for the perfect setting for coffee each morning.

What makes this property unique

Each room is facing the Payette river. We enjoy sitting on the patio with a glass of wine watching the wildlife roam freely among the large Ponderosa pines.
