About this property
"Island Time" in Old Town
Welcome to "Island Time" located in the heart of Old Town! This 2nd floor condo is perfect home base for your adventure or work from home lifestyle.
Just steps to the Historic Seaport and a few blocks from Duval Street. Relax and watch the world go by on the wrap around porch, complete with a hammock, hanging swing and Adirondack chairs. This condo has everything you need, just bring your bathing suit, flip flops and positive vibes.
The space
Our 2nd floor condo offers 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath with all the comforts of home. A large living area, full kitchen, washer and dryer and the BEST PART- a huge wrap around porch with an iconic haute blue ceiling. Enjoy morning coffee listening to the roosters, or happy hour with friends sipping a key lime martini.
Each bedroom has a TV with full streaming apps, high speed WiFi - If you are going to work from home, why not work from paradise!
Island Time has historic charm too. This is not just your average rental. When you stay here, you are living in the home of the one and only Wilhelmina Celeste Goehring Harvey (1912 - 2005) - a philanthropist and the first female mayor of Monroe County, Florida. A "grand dame of Keys politics", she was frequently a public face of the Conch Republic. In April 1982, citizens of Key West formed the Conch Republic, a satirical micronation, in response to a Border Patrol checkpoint that disrupted travel and tourist activity. Harvey became Admiral and First Sea Lord of the Conch Republic's Navy, whose actions included attacking a Coast Guard cutter with loaves of stale Cuban bread. Great trivia to share with new friends you are bound to meet at Happy Hour.
