This is a great property. Walkable to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is functional and the fenced yard was a bonus for my small dog.
This property worked really well for our group. We just wanted a little home away from home with our children and their cousin (ages 18 months to 6 years) and it worked out great. Within short walking distance of the water, downtown and playgrounds and a shady, fenced yard. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The property was clean, comfortable & freshly painted and updated with a beachy theme throughout. There were more items available for our comfort than expected from basic kitchen and cleaning supplies to an umbrella, ponchos, first aid kits and comfy afghans. Beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was perfect as we were able to tour the town and dine out without moving our cars during our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Karen Wheet
I love to host and open up my home to people from all walks of life. When the house isn't rented to others, I really enjoy having my 4 kids/families here for a weekend of fun. My favorite things: getting out in nature, biking, playing tennis and dabbling in acryllic painting.
Why they chose this property
Originally built as a stable, circa 1820 - during ownership of Charles de Wolf Jr. This is an historic home in the down historic section of Bristol, RI. Completely remodeled in 2014.
What makes this property unique
Two parks located within a few blocks of house. One street away from the harbor. Seasonal ferry takes you to Newport or up to Providence. Walking score - 87. Quaint seaside village - located just 1/2 hour North of Newport and 1/2 hour South of Providence, RI. Many dining options, sure to please any pallet! Bristol is the home to the oldest running 4th of July Parade, and The Seaport House is one street away. The bike path starts/ends (depending how you look at it) right nearby!
