Welcome to Whispering Pines, located in a sought after location with huge views of Lake Norman!

This charming brick home sleeps a maximum of 6 guests, making it a perfect getaway for small families or couples.

Whispering Pines features floor to ceiling windows, allowing the beautiful views to be seen from both the living room and dining room! There is a secondary living room to provide a comfortable space for children at the front of the home. The covered back porch overlooks the main channel of Lake Norman, making this the perfect spot for your morning coffee or outdoor dining.

Primary Bedroom- King, ensuite bathroom (shower)
King Bedroom- Shared hallway bathroom (shower/tub combo)
Bunk Bedroom- Full/Queen, shared hallway bathroom

The spacious private dock has a large covered space with an outdoor dining table ready for 6 guests to enjoy. If you are a boater, you will enjoy having access to two boat slips and additional cleats on the sides - perfect for bringing multiple boats!

Don't forget to add a boat rental to your stay to get the most out of your Lake Norman experience! We have partnered with a nearby marina to provide our guests with brand new tritoons - delivered right to your dock for your ease! Just ask us about boat rentals and we will arrange for one to be delivered to you!

*** All bookings will require a signed lease agreement to include a valid ID and selfie photo in order to be confirmed. Lease agreements must be signed within 7 days from booking to avoid cancellation
*** Standard early check-in and late-check out policy is as follows: 2pm check-in and 12pm check-out with a $50 fee per request. All subject to availability and all holidays are excluded
*** No weddings or events are permitted at this property
*** Pet fee of $150 per dog - max of one dog
*** We cannot guarantee that the dock can accommodate specific types of boats. If you are bringing your own boat, please let us know so we can check the accommodations
*** We cannot guarantee lake levels as they do change daily

Wonderful week with family

We had a great stay at this charming house. Great location, kayaks and the dock was perfect for some night time fishing. We love lake Norman and will definitely be back!

Evac from asheville

We needed a nice peaceful home after evacuating from Hurricane Helene and this home on the lake was a perfect spot for us to unwind. Would stay here again. Nice home, great view, great yard for the dogs.

Great View but VERY Noisy

The house is nice and surface clean but it could use a deep cleaning. The beds are comfortable and clean. The couch cushions on the porch were filthy and had ants, some windows don't have screens, some of the shades in the family room don't work, the grill was dirty and ran out of propane after one use and the water had a strong sulfur smell. The washer died after one load of laundry but the property manager did send someone to repair it quickly although they left the front door unlocked when they left. The biggest complaint is the constant noise on both sides of the house. The houses are close together and the houses on both sides are under construction. Nail guns and saws start at 8am and last until 5pm. It was especially annoying because I specifically asked about construction noise before booking because of the other review that mentioned it. I was told construction slowed down since that review was written. Quite the opposite. It's a nice house in a great location with amazing views but was not the quiet vacation we were hoping for.

Noisy

While the house was more than adequate the construction of a large double decker pier and dock approximately 30 feet from our dock was most disturbing. Daily construction noise, crew conversations and blaring music were a major disruption to the peaceful vacation we were planning. The construction of the dock will likely take several more months which, according to the neighbors, will be followed by construction of a house next door. While we had no warning of this activity I think it fair that future renters be forewarned of this situation. I said that in my review . The house itself was clean except for the porch area and the bathrooms could use an update.
