Sun Valley Cottonwood Condo

This darling remodeled single-level condominium is the perfect Sun Valley retreat! This unit is situated on the first level of the Custer Building, as you enter you will find the bedroom with a King bed and a small TV with DVD, plenty of closet space. The kitchen was remodeled complete with granite countertops, newer appliances and finishes. The living room includes a gas fireplace, a comfy sofa that is also a Queen sofa sleeper for extra guests and a 32' TV with DVD and cable. The dining area is adjacent to the living room and kitchen and seats 6 comfortably. There is a small nook in the living room with a built in desk should you need a workspace while here. There is a large deck off of the living room for the summer months. Wireless internet is offered in this condo as well. Your full size bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom. A stackable washer/dryer is located in hall for your convenience. There are lockers at the base of the mountain for ski and boot storage so you can hop on the free shuttle in front of the complex or you can just take a stroll over to the River Run side of Baldy. The bike path runs north for 10 miles and south for 16 miles along the Big Wood River with wonderful scenery to enjoy as you walk or bike. The path is groomed for Nordic Skiing in the winter and provides access to ski to the lifts. All you need to bring for your vacation with us is a change of clothes and your grocery list. All linens and towels are provided for you as well as soap.

Perfect place for a Sun Valley stay

The place was great for my stay. It's walking distance to the SV Lodge, first floor unit so no stairs after a day of skiing. I loved the instant on gas fireplace and all of the amenities the place came with. Very comfortable for a couple.

Loved our stay at the cottonwood complex. Perfectly located to town, bald mountain and dollar mountain. Condo was perfectly stocked and cozy for the two of us. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Excellent personal and responsive service

My husband was skiing, but I was in work mode so desperately needed a hair dryer. I reached out, and the owner made sure someone was over with one in very short order. Very grateful. Beautiful area. Condo was a bit older than I expected, but everything was clean. More towels would be a nice touch. Thank you! We had a great visit!

Beautiful and cozy condo

This condo had it all. The bedroom was big and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and very nice. The kitchen is beautiful and updated with granite countertops. Open floor plan with a fireplace. I would definitely stay here again. Felt like home. Great communication from the owner.

Great place!

This very clean, cozy condo is perfect for two with easy access to Sun Valley trails and bike paths that we really enjoyed. We also spent a lot of time on the deck…..very peaceful. All of the appliances worked which is always a plus. Probably the best asset is the host, Casey, who was always available when we had questions. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Ski trip with a lot more to do

I opted to ski at Sun Valley as my wife no longer skis and Ketchum had plenty for her to see and do. Casey's condo is super convenient for a wide range of activities. Check in after a long drive was easy. A great place to relax in after a long day. Well equipped kitchen. Walk to the Sun Valley lodge, ice rink, pavilion, or stables. Or it's a 5 minute walk to bus stops that can take you to the ski lodges or all over Ketchum. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Great location, good condo

Everything was nice at the condo but there are some flags. There’s black mold in the shower and the window in the bedroom is broken so it won’t lock. The sofa is pushed back against the bar stools so you can’t use the bar stools. I was going to push the sofa off of the bar stools but the jungle of spider webs Under the bar kept me from doing so. It’s a perfect location with a parking spot and the owner responds right away, I just think it could use a deep cleaning and a couple of small fixes and it would be perfect.

A Slice of Paradise

My husband and I spent 5 nights in Casey’s condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the patio at the end of the day drinking a glass of wine and listening to the water rush by on the Big Wood River. We slept very, very well as the bed was extremely comfortable. We did quite a bit of our own cooking, and it was easy to do since the kitchen was well equipped. A nice perk to have passes to the pool and hot tub at the Sun Valley Lodge. Casey was easy to communicate with and answered my questions promptly. Happy as soon as we walked in.

I had seen photos, but sometimes pictures can be misleading. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked thru the doors. It was clean and the views from every window were peaceful and beautiful. The location of this unit, well let's just say this, you won't find a place to stay that is located any better. SV village is 200 yards away and Ketchum is a beautiful 10 to 15 minute walk if you like a little exercise. A part of me didn't want to write this review because I want this place available for me to use again, but I'm not quite that selfish... lol... We are going back, just not sure when, hopefully sooner than later. I highly recommend this property.
