Welcome to the Hula-House! This home is in a great Location for your Hilo Adventures. We offer a unique 3BR1Bath stand alone Home which is freshly renovated and ready for hosting YOU. You will have 3 Air-Conditioner's in the Bedrooms plus ceiling fans in every room. We also added 2 more TV's so you have a total of 3 TV's in this home. Very well equipped with all you need in the kitchen plus it comes with a brand new Washer/Dryer inside the Bathroom. Come and enjoy the Spirit of Hula & Aloha!!

Super cool Neighborhood close to Hilo Downtown but still up the Hill. Perfect for your exploring adventure of the Big Island. We have close by restaurants shops Beaches and Hikes to go so you will have the best options for your stay!
There is also a great bike rental company in town ask us if you need more advise we are happy to help!

We give you all the space you need and don't require to meet for check in. Easy self Check-in through Smartpad. Just text us via messenger we are super responsive. Manager lives down below on first floor.

We always recommend to get a rental car for your stay but if you don't want to rent a car this place got you covered. You can walk down the Hill and are right in Hilo Downtown or by a close by Supermarket Shops and Restaurants. There is no real public transport system in Hilo town but everything is super close by. We love to bike around town too! Aloha!

Lovely home

Very comfortable, with beautiful, authentic, hula themed decor. Well appointed, close to downtown, but quiet. Would definitely stay here again, next time we're in Hilo.

Great spot

Great apartment to spend a few days with my family (5 adults). Easy walk into town. Hosts were very communicative and the check-in process was smooth as could be. The immediate area around the property was okay.

Amazing Stay!

We were so happy to find this gem in Hilo! The property is exactly as the images show. This home is so tastefully decorated! It was easy to settle into this space, cook meals and get a great rest. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had ample supplies, even a plastic drawer with to-go containers! The home was spotless. Communication prompt. Check in was easy. The gift of Big Island Grown Coffee and cookies was a real nice touch! I was even able to purchase a few bags of coffee to take back home. Thank you for provide such a special place for us to enjoy while exploring Hilo and east coast

Hilo Hula House

This home was perfectly located for exploring Hilo and the surrounding areas such as Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. Our family of five fit comfortably in the space with room to spare. The host provided tea, coffee, and a sweet treat. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fabulous stay in Hilo

This house felt like coming home. The attention to detail is top notch. Appreciated the welcome basket. There's a separate parking space for you to use. House is on a side street, no issues with street noise. You will hear coqui (frogs sounding like birds) at night, which can get quite loud. Don't let that stop you from staying here though, because you won't be able to escape it anywhere in Hilo anyway and this house is really fabulous. Bonus: earplugs are provided for those that want them. Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for our little group

This home will forever be special to me. It was my second time staying. I love the living room space. That couch is amazing! The kitchen is open and beautiful. Be sure to read the notice about the ants. It’s a real thing!! The rooms are air conditioned. There is a washer and dryer. Check in was a breeze. There are quite a few stairs and it’s a little steep. I would recommend adding a picture of the stairs. Overall it is a beautiful and comfortable home. Highly recommended

Treat Yourself

We are a family of 4 from Texas (14yo and 20yo kids) and stayed 4 nights. The house is so cute and nicely updated. The AC units in the bedrooms kept the nights cold like we are used to but with the windows open we were very comfortable the rest of the time as well. Everything is as described--very clean, comfortable beds, lots of kitchen supplies and some sweet little bonuses. Location was perfect and nothing was more than a few minutes away. The house is on the edge of a neighborhood but also in walking distance of the old-town. We felt totally safe at all times, leaving the windows open each night and while we were gone during the days. My favorite thing was waking up before everyone, going into the living room and smelling the sweet Hawaiian flowers from outside. This was our first trip to Hawaii and it was the absolute best first impression. If you're going to Hilo, look no further!

Hula in Hilo

This was a great older property that has been renovated and is thoughtfully curated. Everything was great with the property. Our only issue with this VRBO was the location and the neighbourhood. There was a barking dog across the street which started barking both mornings between 6:30AM and 7AM, followed by people gathering out front of the adjacent property. This is obviously out of the owners control, but it made for an early morning on our vacation. Beware that due to the older nature of the property that all food and any remnants must be kept clean and put away, otherwise ants will find it. The place itself is fresh and clean, and the Hilo area can’t be missed on the big island.
