Nestled beneath a giant Cypress Tree, our cottage reveals breathtaking views of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Views from several rooms of the home reveal sand-pipers darting in and out of the waves, sea lions basking in the sun and agate gatherers strolling our wondrous coastline as crisp blue-green waves pound the shore.

Within seconds of walking out your door, one can enjoy the sand beneath your feet, ocean spray upon your face and marvel at the blue sky as you are enveloped in some of Del Norte County's wonders.

Close to the airport for the travelers convenience and within walking distance to town, our Coastal Cottage is conveniently located. But it is the view that you can't beat and that is unparalleled to others.

The cottage is a completely furnished two bedroom with a large family room and kitchen area, a home away from home with all the conveniences waiting to welcome you. Quick trip through the Redwood National Forest

We were only in the area for a couple of days. The weather was very rainy so it was wonderful to have this very comfortable home to come back to. It was perfect for sitting and watching the ocean.

A Star in Crescent

Clean, all the amenities--including coffee and snacks, washer and dryer a nice touch, easy & close beach access, good large TV but no cable or satellite connection, so no way to watch watch live sports or common network shows. Location is great in all respects--especially to watch the ocean

Redwood parks visit

This house was perfect for our trip to the Redwoods. Its location was very peaceful and quiet. The house had everything we needed and tons of space for our family of four. We loved watching the sunset from the beach and searching the tide pools in the morning.

Perfect view

The view is just the start of how great this house is! There is tons of space, its close to everything, and was the perfect landing spot for our visit to the Redwood National and State Forrests. We even drove up the coast to see some spectacular views in Oregon. Fantastic!

Perfect spot with an beautiful view

Perfect spot for touring the Redwoods. Beautiful sunsets right out the door.. Everything as pictured, kitchen stocked with plenty of cooking supplies. We would definitely come back again. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful spot

The house is very nice. Our stay was a bit chilly as the main heater didn't work. A space heater was brought and that helped. We couldn't really enjoy the front room though. The house does not have a wood stove, as listed in the description. So that was a disappointment. The location is great though and I am sure warmer weather would make the whole space more usable.

Amazing View..incredible rates

As soon as we turned on the street, it was jaw dropping. Having a garage was a great perk. The bungalow is a retro/redo in excellent shape. Storage was great, as was the laundry. All the dishes/flatware/cooking items looked new. We always use vacation rentals when we travel. We've stayed at places that looked like everything was garage sale items. Not this place. The view is something you have to see to appreciate. Pictures do not do it service. Darlene and other staff at the rental agency were wonderful. We loved it so much, we would have attempted buying it, if not for our grandchildren at home.

This is really a lovely beach home in a quaint town that is nestled between the beach and the forest

This home has everything you will need to enjoy your visit to Northern CA. Navigation is tricky, as we never found the street name, it's really not accessible by GPS's directions, it almost gets you there, but it takes you up a driveway that is technically the back of the home and I'm assuming the neighbors get annoyed by this. But you will recognize the property from the listing and realize that you can only access it from behind. Take Hemlock (LoL, to anyone who knows....) And follow it the few houses it goes and make a left where it ends. The home will be two houses on your left. It dead ends after that so you can't miss it. That is the only tricky thing, especially if you arrive at night. It's well lit with motion activated lights which were very appreciated. The heaters are on the bedroom walls and make the rooms nice and toasty really quickly. The sheets are some of the softest I've ever slept on. The ocean view from the sunroom is gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing this property on VRBO.

wonderful end of coast trip

View of beach and surf while listening to the sea lions resting on the rocks was a wonderful end to our trip. Lovely beach bungalow exactly as listed. Great location with minutes to any of Crescent Beach eateries and the Redwoods.

Crescent City Gem

Clean and comfortable with amazing view. Well stocked and appointed. Nice layout so the view is everywhere. The garage was a nice bonus for loading and unloading the car in the rain. The only thing I would change would be the bar stools .They are too tall for the counters.

Great location, place was better than pictures suggest..

House is larger on the inside than it looked in the pictures. Very comfy beds. Nice sunroom overlooking the ocean. Located on a nice scenic drive. Very clean. Great restaurant and brewery nearby. Easy to walk down to beach. Wifi and free Netflix were nice.

Anniversary

Spent our 20th anniversary here; kid free weekend. Lots of great beaches to walk, redwood trails are close and the sunsets were magnificent. Home was larger than we thought, the fireplace was awesome and the lazy afternoons in the sunroom were great after a busy day. Would definitely come again.

Great location

I loved seeing the ocean every moment of every day. The house was great for our family of four. It was like being at home but close to the beach. We will come back every year for our family vacation. The only down fall was the lot in front of the house is in transition so, it was not a grass yard in front. I was looking forward to the grass space since we have young kids, we just ended up at the beach instead.

Incredible ocean views from nearly every room in the home and with easy beach access. The sun room that offers a a table for eating, seating for reading, a bed for extra sleeping and a second TV (there is also a TV in the living room) in case you want to enjoy the view from both the TV and the ocean. Double car garage for convenient parking and covered exiting from your vehicle in case of some coastal rain. Laundry room and open floor plan from the kitchen to the living room, to the sun room.
