This place was even better than we imagined! Super clean and very well-maintained. It had everything we needed! Beautifully decorated—just clean and fresh. Not a lot of little knick knacky clutter. I highly recommend staying here :) We will definitely go back!
The place was full of history and rich character. The small details were all cohesively blended together to make a simplistic yet scenic stay. The view of the mountains were gorgeous and the sounds of the bubbling spring and flowing creek were very serene. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. We love Townsend and this place was perfect for the two of us to relax and chill.
This house was perfect. My husband and I stayed for a few days after an overnight hike to LeConte that we did for our anniversary. The house is beautiful and clean. A nice patio to drink coffee on in the morning and so close to everything we wanted to do. Townsend is a wonderful town with several great restaurants and coffee shops that is only a few minutes drive from the house as well as the Townsend entrance to the park. We hope to be back soon!
The property was as listed. Everything was clean and in a great location. We would definitely stay there again if had the opportunity and are in Townsend again.
Beautiful little farmhouse with everything I needed for my visit to Townsend. Well-decorated and stocked. Loved the patio for early morning coffee, and the private river access.
Very close to all that Townsend has to offer, and convenient to the National Park and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
Thank you for the best visit to the Smoky Mountains, we loved how close the park entrance was, and we loved Townsend! It was quiet and the house was charming and perfect in every way. Extremely clean, comfortable and fun. We would love to return!
Just a short get-a-way to do some running and relaxing. We loved the Spring House. Cozy, clean and comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here again.
The owner was great to work with. Great stay with exception of tv viewing. The Roku setup was pitiful. We didn’t go to watch tv, but rain changed our plans a little.
The property was very close to Townsend and Cades Cove. Very clean and stocked with anything you needed for a vacation home near the Smoky Mountains. Enjoyed our stay.
This property couldn’t have been better! It was super clean! It’s decorated beautifully. The attention to detail from the furnishings, to the kitchen utensils, and down to the Watkins spice rack is impeccable. We loved how quiet the area is. But minutes away are great places to eat and shop! If you’re into water rafting/tubing, this is the place to rent! I really didn’t want to share how wonderful the Spring House is because I want it available for when my husband and I go back!
This was a spur or the moment trip, which I do not like to do as a self-described planner. HOWEVER, this place was extra good. It is close to town, WIN! It is beautifully built, WIN! It is cute as a button, WIN! Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen, roomy shower, lovely outdoor patio with fire pit plus the sound of water coming from the spring on the property. How relaxing. My husband would have loved a reclining chair to relax in following a full day of activities, however this is not a game changer for us. We will definitely visit the Spring House again. Go & enjoy! You will be happy you did.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy and in a great location for enjoying all that Townsend has to offer. Owner was easy to work with. She responded quickly to one concern with the door lock and addressed it as promised.
It was wonderful! The only trouble we had was that the GPS didn’t take us to the house but one road past where we needed to go. It was a beautiful little spot with such an interesting story! We will certainly come back. So close to the main road yet so peaceful! The patio beside the spring, the sound of the river across the street, perfect for relaxing! The special touches like the s’mores basket when we arrived and the resident gnomes by the spring made our stay so memorable! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! Thanks for having us!
This was a last minute decision based on changing leaf colors and we were very fortunate to find this property! It is a beautiful cottage in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but close enough to enjoy what the towns offer and return to a quiet retreat. We loved it!😍
This property was exactly as stated on VRBO. Super clean. Comfortable. Homey feel. Loved the patio and fire pit. Even saw raccoons in a burrow in the natural spring area. Loved that it was far away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas but close enough to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg easily. Owner was very responsive. They even had a small s’more’s makings/ingredients on the counter when we arrived. One suggestion: coffee mugs. Other than that, it was perfect! Would stay here again, for sure.
Very nice place to stay. Very quiet and the patio area with the spring water running was wonderful. In the evenings relaxing with a small fire in the fire pit was heaven. I would recommend this for a nice couples get away.
