The Treehouse by the Lake

POOL OPEN THROUGH SEPTEMBER! 3 NIGHT MINIMUM!

The Treehouse is a professionally designed luxury home in New Buffalo with exclusive access to the community's private beach just two minutes down the road. The private heated pool is thoughtfully constructed with ledges perfect for younger kids, and the year-round outdoor hot tub is ready for your cool weather getaways.

The split-level house boasts four bedrooms (two primary bedrooms with their own bathrooms, each on their own levels) and two bedrooms located in the basement off of the family room. One basement bedroom contains a king bed, the other two sets of bunk beds. The top floor boasts the Treehouse, with four walls of windows and peekaboo views of the lake. The stunning kitchen offers high end appliances including a 6-burner stove, separate ice maker, wine refrigerator, and loads of cooking utensils. Two dishwashers make cleanup a breeze.
The amenities are too great to list: a Peloton (your own shoes required); a beach wagon, chairs, and toys; bicycles and helmets; a TV with Roku in every living space and bedroom; Sonos sound bars in all main rooms and outdoors by the pool; separate gas and charcoal grills; a large fire pit with firewood; an outdoor shower; and plenty of toys for the kids. Multiple seating areas and two outdoor dining tables complete the large fenced backyard. This is our vacation home, and we visit often - we treat the home with love and hope you'll do the same.
The location can't be beat - other than the beach, Skip's European Farmer's Market is a 15 minute stroll away, and you're close to all of the dining options and wine tastings Harbor Country has to offer.
Two night minimum from October - May (three nights for holiday weekends). The pool is closed for the season from October to late May; the hot tub is available year-round.

Family get away

Wonderful property with everything we needed to keep the kids happy. The swimming pool and across the street access to beach were great. Grilling out every night, sand the fire pit for s’mores made food fun. A short ride from town and shops. We had a superb time all around.

This is a wonderful home! It has every amenity you can imagine and still feels homey and comfortable. The owners have thought of every little thing you could possibly need for a great stay, with friends or family. Great location...loved the pool, hot tub, private beach, restaurants, and more! Beautiful Treehouse

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone used the pool for fun and exercise. The fully equipped kitchen made meals easy to prepare. We enjoyed games, videos and coloring on rainy days. The beach was perfect for afternoon picnics and watching the sunsets.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of open space with lots of windows. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. The house was located across the street from Lake Michigan with a partial view of the lake. The street was very quiet. We thought this was a good value for the money.

Great getaway

The property feels like a luxury cabin. Very unassuming from the outside, the inside is light, bright and full of style. Plenty of space for adults to spread out and find time to be alone together. Hot tub was great and I can imagine the summertime here is incredible with the pool as well. We were visiting over winter and the fireplace/pit were perfect additions and the location being so close to the lake was great for chilly winter strolls.

Perfect getaway hone

I can’t say enough about not only the home, but the communication of our host. She was there at any point a question was raised. The house is spacious, clean, and very well appointed. Can’t think of one thing we needed that they didn’t have. The pool and outside area is private and spacious and the walk to the beach is very convenient!

Wonderful!

The home was beautiful - clean and modern with bountiful amenities. Perfect location with a 2 minute walk to the private beach, and an easy 10 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo. The owner was so helpful and accommodating with our requests and communication. We didn’t have children with us but the home was fully equipped with high chair, pack n play, kids toys, beach towels, etc. We are looking forward to staying here again soon!
