Amazing location, lovely simple condo

We loved staying at this condo and skiing Deer Valley. Bus stop is right outside the door. About 10 minutes bus ride to Deer Valley. Deer Valleynhas complimentary overnight ski storage which made it even simpler. Condo was comfortable and had enough space for the two of us. Might have felt snug with two more people, but it would have worked. Note that the parking is under the building with a normal sized garage door that does not accommodate a roof box on your vehicle. There is no outdoor parking. We had to remove our roof box for the duration of our stay. Thankfully there was plenty of room to store it in the garage. We had no issue with hot water as a previous reviewer mentioned and we loved the community hot tub in the courtyard outside the kitchen. Basic, but highly recommended.

Overall good, a few downsides

Positives:Great location, spacious with ski amenities, well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms in good condition, responsive hosts.Areas for improvement:* “Sleeps six” would only work for families with toddlers as the two sleeper sofas are twin beds in the master bedroom and the guest bedroom only has a single queen bed, our teenage daughters didn’t want to share a bed so one slept on the couch and we didn’t want the guest bedroom.* The water heater is under-sized, after a five minute shower the hot water ran out.* The gas fireplace igniter for the pilot light was broken and the instructions were not easy to find. While I could see staying here again, I would likely look for a different option because of the sleeping arrangements.

Check in process

Our flight was cancelled so we had to scramble and fly into Vegas and drive from there. We reached the property at 3am and the door code in the instructions provided was incorrect. We had to sleep in the car until we could reach the property manager around in the morning. I don't think we should have to pay for the first night as we were technically locked out of the property. It was a bad experience to start our trip. After we got the proper code, the property was fine. I do suggest you upgrade the blowdryer.
