Great property with a lot of room, amenities and overall great place. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away with family or friends for a few days.
My family & friends stayed here and we were able to host dinner for everyone each night and able to take advantage of the kayaks during the day. Views were great and really appreciated the large table outside and inside too. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to set up buffet line. We would stay here again. Thank you James for allowing us to build new memories.
Very clean. All new Applicances’s and plenty of space. We stayed for a baseball tournament for our teens and it was perfect. Great fishing from shoreline.
This is the second time we’ve rented this house and it did not disappoint us again. We absolutely love the privacy, the views, the lake access, the rooms in the home, and the picnic table that fits all 12 of us is absolute perfect. We love this property and home so much, we will return again next year!
Adorable house with great retro vibe, updated bathrooms and comfortable beds in main bedrooms. Lake is beautiful… we spent most of our time swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Property owner very responsive and knows the areas well! Highly recommend
Beautiful property . Great for a large group . We were gathering for a funeral and needed a property to accommodate immediate friends and family . Peaceful and beautiful!!! We loved all the different seating areas. Lots of wildlife ! Bring your bug spray !
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was exactly as described, and the owners were a delight to work with. We can’t say enough good things about this place. We have stayed at other cabins in other states but this place was absolutely perfect for our family. There was enough room for all 14 of us, and the picnic table overlooking the water was an amazing place to have breakfast and dinner as a family. We all loved it so much that we voted to come back next year. We really can’t say enough good things about this place!
We had an extended family get-together of 9 adults and a baby. The property worked very well for that and was nicer than some expected. The kitchen was very well equipped.
Looking out the front, you see a gorgeous marsh with a lot of wildlife. There was a pair of bald eagles nesting on the property (really, they were confirmed by an expert). And the marsh was full of Herron, ducks, geese, cranes, and other water birds. Deer would also wade out into the water. It was like our own little nature show.
Peaceful location with space and activities for everyone!
We had a large group of ten with 5 adults and children ranging in age from 19 to 11. The property was perfect for our vacation. Lots of space inside the cottage to spread out, and also large common spaces for group dinners and games. The hosts clearly put a great deal of thought into what a large group would need. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, silverware, glassware, etc. The grill, smoker and flattop were all well maintained. Kayaks, paddleboard and a paddleboat were included as well. The waterfront area was peaceful, with a plethora of wild life to watch in the morning, including eagles, deer and blackbirds. The bedrooms were well maintained and comfortable. Overall we had a great experience and would return again.
