Come relax in this newly built rustic cabin located on top of the bluffs in the Driftless Region of De Soto Wisconsin. Only a few minutes away from the Mighty Mississippi. Watch the Deer and Turkeys play while enjoying your time with family and friends on the patio with a fire pit. Cozy up by the indoor fireplace. The cabin sleeps 4, includes a king sized bed in the main floor bedroom with a shower bathroom and a loft with one full sized bed and two single beds and a shower bathroom. Just added new 4 person outdoor HOT TUB open year round!
Main floor master bedroom with king sized bed. Main floor bathroom with shower. Open floor plan for Kitchen, dining room and living room with a gas fireplace. Upstairs loft includes 2 twin beds and a full sized bed. Loft also has bathroom with shower.
Just added a new workout center for all our guests at our 5 houses to use!!! This center is within walking distance of our vacation rentals and is available for our guests to use at no additional charge!!!

We all enjoyed getting away from home for a while. The hosts were very nice and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The only thing that i didn't like were the pictures on the listing had filters on them so that was a little deceiving from how it actually looked. Overall great though.

Wow!!

What a great cabin! I am usually very disappointed in the cleanliness of other VRBO’s that we have stayed at, not this one at all! It was so clean (I am very picky)!! It was well stocked. Very clean hot tub! It was so relaxing and so nice and quiet. Was so fun to watch Eagles flying above while we sat in the hot tub!

Beautiful getaway on the bluffs

We enjoyed every second of our stay at this cozy cabin in the bluffs. We enjoyed the hot tub & cuddled up by the fire for some football. The location of the cabin makes for some unreal walks at sunrise & sunset! Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! We can’t wait to bring back some friends and family. It was so clean and great instructions. The hot tub was amazing in the cool weather. We had no issues so we never even had to contact the owners but I’m sure they would have been great to work with.

Great Cabin and Great Owner

The cabin was perfect for our family. The kids had plenty of room in the loft. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a Thanksgiving meal. The hot tub was clean and ready to use when we arrived. The views were amazing and my kids loved the area so much they want to go back again. The owner was responsive and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. I highly recommend this property!

A Perfect Getaway!

Our stay at the Rustic Hideaway cabin in De Soto, WI, was spectacular! The cabin perfectly blends rustic charm with modern comforts, offering a cozy interior with all the essentials. We loved the serene location and stunning views of the Mississippi River, making it the perfect escape. The spacious patio and front porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee and evening stargazing. With plenty of nearby activities like hiking, sightseeing and great restaurants, there was always something to do. The hosts provided helpful local tips and ensured we had everything we needed. Overall, the Rustic Hideaway cabin offered a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return to this slice of paradise!

This Vrbo listing was very well kept!! It felt like it was built yesterday and we were the first guests. We loved this cute and quaint little cabin! My husband and I were looking for a weekend away to recharge and relax from all the hustle and bustle of day to day life and this place was perfect! We went for a few walks and it was so quiet and the view of the river down below was amazing! I bet the area is even more beautiful in the summer/fall. Loved all the finishes inside the cabin as they were exactly like our style! The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever cooking items you may need, bathrooms have plenty extra of towels, and the fireplace and heated floors were so nice in February! This place is definitely on the list of places to return to!

The cabin was absolutely lovely. Peaceful and well appointed with supplies. We had a great time. My only minor complaint was not getting information about how to check in and the address. It was easy to find but I had no email prior and had difficulty using my app in the rural area due to cell coverage. An email with check in details would have been helpful. Otherwise everything was awesome! I’d definitely go back and recommend it to friends. Thanks so much!

Absolutely beautiful home!

We had a wonderful girls weekend away at this beautiful home. We had everything we could possibly need, linens, pillows, towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit. The detail in the decorating and details of the wood work is exceptional! The host was so helpful and even let us know that there was some flooded roads nearby that we should avoid. We took a day trip into LaCrosse for shopping and Mexican at Pako Azul! You must try the guacamole! The only thing I would tell others staying here is that you do end up driving on gravel roads for a bit on the way to the house which was a little scary for us coming in the dark since we weren't totally sure where we were. It is much less scary in the day light! Haha! Such a beautiful home. And the view of the river is so beautiful!! I 100 percent recommend this to anyone looking for a fun get away!

Beautiful Cabin AND Beautiful Views!!

This place was simply perfect for out family of four to get away for the weekend. We went in October while the fall colors in Wisconsin are at their best and we were not disappointed! Right across the road from the property you can look out/down at the beautiful Mississippi river - simply breathtaking! It is a nice quiet area with minimal traffic so we even took a walk down the road to get more views of the river/fall colors and enjoy the fresh crisp fall air. The cabin itself is newly built and pristine inside - everything was immaculately clean (and I am picky about cleanliness!). The setup/layout was also great - we especially appreciated that there is a 2nd bathroom up in the loft which is where our boys slept. We loved the fireplace - so cozy to curl up on the couch and watch a movie with the fireplace adding some extra warmth. The dining space was nice as well with both a dining table to seat 6 and a large peninsula counter with seating for 4 for quick meals. There's also a very nice dining area/patio with a grill outside - we did use the grill but it was a little chilly/windy when we were there to dine outside. The kitchen was also more than ample - we found everything we needed to prepare a couple meals/breakfasts at the cabin. It is just very clear that the owners have taken a lot of time and care to make sure your stay is comfortable with lots of little details and amentities. We would stay here again (or at any of their other properties) in a heartbeat!!

Top 5 "Best" Stays in Wisconsin

Wow, what a lovely property! From booking through departure, this was easily one of the best vacation stays I've ever had through a website. A brand-new built cabin home, rustic in looks and charm - yet modern in features (gas fireplace, WiFi, smart TV, modern appliances, fully stocked for everyday living, etc). What they DON'T feature in the images is the absolutely breathtaking view at the road, from the bluff this property sits on, overlooking the Mississippi River far below . . . just amazing! Communication with the owner (she manages the property, her husband designed and built it), was immediate and very friendly. They even provided firewood for the fire pit on the patio! Also, I've stayed in VRBO's with far less to offer, and at a higher price; so this location represents a great value. Easily ranks in my Top 5 of amazing, best-kept-secret VRBO's. We'll be back for sure!

We currently have 5 vacation rentals (all within walking distance of each other) perched high on a bluff with beautiful Views that will take your breath away. We have fallen in love with this area that is referred to as "Gods Country" and love to be able to share the beauty with others. We have a huge passion for hunting and fishing and there's no better place for that then here!!!

The views are just amazing. We currently have 5 properties within walking distance of each other, all in a secluded area with Views of the Mighty Mississippi. Wildlife are usually within sight. Our properties are perfect for a family reunion, corporate retreat and not to mention the beauty of the view for the perfect wedding venue.
