A beautiful property with a very nice view. Creatively appointed with great amenities. We enjoyed the backyard, playing pickle ball just across the canal, and the mile walk to town where we enjoyed the waters edge and the warm atmosphere, restaurants and people. Such a lovely getaway!

First I would like to thhank Mike for being such a wonderful host. The mansion had everything we needed to cook homemade ravioli dinner. The view from the kitchen is amazing. The french doors to the balconies are beautiful as the views from them are as well. It is quiet besides the wild life. Upon arriving I had a bunny welcome me. Woke up to lots of birds chirping. The bath tub does have room for two and is jetted. The bathroom its self is just as beautiful as the reat of the place. The beds are terrific. It made for a great sleep. I even slept in and never do that any more. If you get a chance to stay here take it. You wont be disappointed.
Celebrated my 12th Wedded anniversary and 25 years together. Got Married in Boatin as soon as it became legal for LGBTQ, was instantly transported back to that G'Nors' mansion we married in. This Apt is perfect for the cozy. Veey well equipped. The views are AMAZE BALLS!!!! The caretaker was lovely and personable. She's a hugger like me!
Nice place to rent for the weekend. Friendly locals. Amazing place to eat at La Salle Bar.

Need a new cleaning person
Was in a quiet neighborhood. Good location near the water. Cleanliness was terrible! Dust everywhere. Dirty hand towel and wet washcloth in the bathroom. No check-out instructions. Also, should let people know how many outside steps there are just to get to the door.
The check in time was 3:00 pm. We got there at 2:55. We did not receive check in information until 3:15. As we read the check in Information an the details he gave us I got upset. When I first got the place it said the whole house. The check in information said private suit which is not at all what I paid for. Then when we walked up to the house we went to open a door with a key and was stopped by somebody IN the house. He pointed up the stairs inferring that’s where we were staying. When we got in the house we were immediately unsatisfied. When you walk in there is a door to your left that links your part of the house to the other side where people are staying. My fiancé and I did not feel comfortable with this at all. Then as we explore our side of the house we noticed it was not very clean. There was old food left in the fridge from a YEAR ago. There was old food laid out on the table that expired a YEAR ago. When we turned the bathroom water on it came out brown. Around the toilet there was pubic hair. There was clothes in the drawers . The bed sheets had blood stains on them. It seemed like it hadn’t been touched or cleaned in a long time. After being there for a couple hours on what was supposed to be a fun, exciting, surprise vacation for Valentine’s Day for my fiancé , we decided to text the property manager an see if we could get a refund. When we texted him I was very polite. I told him how I was unsatisfied an how I felt unsafe to stay there since we would be sharing the home with strangers and he got extremely rude with me. He said that the people are completely harmless an then asked if I could send pictures of the place to prove it was not clean. I then sent him the pictures an again told him I do not feel safe with strangers in the house. After he received the pictures he got rude an claimed “that’s not dirty, he was trying to be nice and leave us some food.” Then said “ get out of my house , go live in a hotel or something , I don’t care what you do.” I told him there was no need to be rude an I have no problem leaving I just want to ensure I will get a refund. Overall I rate the home 0/5 stars because of the cleanliness, sharing the home with others, an not getting the full experience of the mini mansion. I rate the property owner 0/5 stars because of how rude he was an the false listing of the property. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!
