Welcome to 13 Governors Road in beautiful Sea Pines! This home features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a fully fenced-in backyard with pool, hot tub and lagoon views!

As you enter into the home you will notice the beautiful hardwood floors and two stairs up that lead you to one of two living rooms. There are two off white sofas, two chairs and a 48” TV. From the living room, up 10 stairs, you will find three guest bedrooms. On the left there is a hall bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower combo.

The first bedroom has two twin beds and a 43” TV. Across the hall there is a bedroom with a queen bed, chair and 43” TV. At the end of the hall is the final bedroom on this floor. It has a king bed, chair, high ceilings and a 43” TV. This bedroom has views of the pool area. There is also a private bathroom with a double vanity and tub/shower combo.

Back downstairs, to the right of the front door, you will find the formal dining room with seating for six. The downstairs is all tiled except for the master bedroom which has carpets. Down the hall is a ½ bathroom with a glass sink. The second living room has a gray couch, four chairs, a fireplace and a 65” Samsung TV. Behind the couch is a bar area with wine fridge. Adjacent to the living room is the fully equipped kitchen with a granite topped island, four tall chairs, stainless steel appliances and a round table that seats four. There are pool views from both the kitchen and living room. By the sliding glass doors, which lead to the pool and backyard, there are two comfortable chairs - a great place to read a book while looking out at the pool.

Outside you will find a very nice pool and hot tub with waterfall feature and plenty of seating for everyone to relax. There is a table that seats six, a love seat and four rocker chairs plus a Char-Broil grill to cook up your favorite bar-b-que. On the other side of the pool there are three lounge chairs, a patio sofa and two chairs by the fire pit. This backyard oasis has lush landscaping and is completely fenced in for privacy and sits along the lagoon. There is even a bocce court for some fun family competition.

On the main floor down the hall behind the dining room is the washer and dryer, lots of closet space and the master bedroom with king bed, two chairs and a 40” TV. This room has access to the pool and backyard. It also has a private bathroom with two separate vanities and a walk-in shower.

13 Governors Road is in a fantastic location close to the front entrance of Sea Pines and is a short walk to the Sea Pines Country Club.

Excellent Sea Pines dog-friendly Property

This house was very nice and it fit our needs perfectly with the numbers of bedrooms for a large family and a fenced in back yard (with pool) for our two dogs. However, it is starting to show wear and needs the owner's or property manager's attention. There are loose drawer knobs, a shower door in the master bath that doesn't close all the way and at least two toilet paper fixtures that need to be tightened to avoid the roll falling off the fixture. Normal household maintenance by a resident owner would fix these issues immediately and make the house a showcase again. I am not a fan of the beach gear credit, especially in spring and fall when the weather may not cooperate for constant beach days. The beach gear itself was fine, but requires a large vehicle to carry it to the beach parking lot and we never had weather good enough for even one solid day on the Sea Pines beach, meaning we have to take the weather risk rather than the beach folks taking that risk within their set up and take down duties. The cost favors the beach gear people only if the gear is used more than 50% of the days there. I also don't like the double agent is this case (as well as our previous week there) because one normally thinks that VRBO means a house listing by an owner, not by another property manager, so there is the double extra fees for both the property manager AND VRBO on top of the owner's take. This house is a wonderful property, but I am not likely to rent it again.
