Rod and Reel | Pet Friendly, Views, Pool, Hot Tub

Rod and Reel is a beautiful one-bedroom condo with gorgeous views from the private balcony of the Laguna Reef Condominiums. Relax in the hot tub overlooking Aransas Bay or cool off in the Laguna Reef swimming pool. Spend your evenings fishing from the 1000-foot lighted fishing pier and grill up your best catch at one of the outdoor grilling areas. Enjoy cooling bay breezes from the private patio with comfortable outdoor furniture or enjoy the great decor and bay views from the living room. The living room has a queen-sized sleeper sofa and small table with seating for two. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. This unit also has Wi-Fi! The bathroom has a walk in shower. All linens and towels will be provided to you for your convenience. Guests will also have access to a coin-operated washer and dryer. Amenities at the Laguna Reef facility include a swimming pool, hot tub, 1000 ft. fishing pier with fishing lights, several shared charcoal grills, beautiful lagoon area at the water, and a large parking lot with plenty of space. Rod and Reel is located near the Rockport Heritage District and Rockport Beach. Spend a day in the sun at the Rockport Beach where you can rent jet skis, swim with the kids, or grill up some food at one of the picnic areas. The Rockport Beach also allows fishing, you can purchase a day pass or an annual pass. There are two piers at Rockport Beach, the south pier is free, and the north pier has a beach admission fee. There is also a boat ramp. We have a list of fishing guides on our site as well. Downtown Rockport is filled with shops and restaurants if you feel like a night out and some fresh seafood on the water. If you feel like shopping then you can grab a cup of coffee at the Daily Grind and walk along Austin Street and visit the shell shops and cute clothing boutiques. This is also a prime location for birding! Little Bay has many protected areas for birds that you can enjoy while walking along the water. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Multiple problems with door codes. Elevator broken on check out, as elderly folks getting luggage down steps was not fun. Otherwise place was clean and well stocked, good location.

Upon walking in it smells very neutral, the cleanliness was amazing! It’s absolutely a must stay! The bed is comfortable so is the couch! The view is amazing!!

Great fishing and staff

We had so much fun! Fished the pier at the property the Fulton fishing pier and the Jetty. Property was exactly as pictured very cute! There were no supplies to clean the grill grates and they had not been cleaned for a while so take a scraper. While we did enjoy our stay there were a lot of very loud (not happy loud sounds, yelling loud) children at the pool each day so if you are looking for quiet this might not be the place for you or stay further from the pool. The management were very prompt at clearing the pool of occupants by 10. We would definitely stay here again! The staff working the front desk are very helpful and courteous. We were looking for a good seafood restaurant and they suggested Pier 77 of Fulton which was excellent! The serving sizes are huge, you can easily share with another person. The Seafood gumbo is the best i've had. Will be going there again too.

This is our second year at Laguna Reef.

This is our second year at Laguna Reef. We really like this property and have referred friends. It's clean, well maintained, and reasonably priced. You cant beat the balcony views, and the staff are friendly and efficient. This is the place to come if you want to relax. It's not a loud party atmosphere. It's all good! The management and employees at Laguna Reef are friendly and very responsive. It's a clean property with a great view.

Everything was great!

We went as a family; 2 adults, 1 two year old, and a medium sized dog. It was the perfect distance to Rockport Beach. The place was clean, check in was easy, and the pool was clean. Already planning a trip for next month!
