Great weekend with family

The Church was a great spot for our family to meet up and relax together. Glen was welcoming, generous, and available for questions. We cooked and grilled, enjoyed sitting outside and walking the property with our dog, the furniture and beds were comfy, and the complimentary eggs, milk, honey, and syrup were delicious! Thanks for helping to make our weekend so pleasant.

Church at hyde park

The church was very cool and unique. Samples eggs, milk, honey and syrup were a plus. The host Glen was ver easy to communicate with. My daughters bedroom was closed off, but the bedroom in the loft was not. That was a little hard to sleep in the loft if someone wanted to watch t.v. You could always use earphones though if you did not want to disturb the loft sleeper. Place was very clean. There were signs in front of the yard for a calf pen and chicken coop but didnt see or hear any signs of a working farm. The church was well stocked with appliances and eating utensils. There was a fire pit and wood also on the property to use. All in all, nice experience.

Unique space in the country

Quiet spot out of the city but not too far from Hudson Valley sites. Large vaulted space, fresh eggs from the hen house next door, sky full of stars at night. Great host!

Great Getaway

We came up from Brooklyn to see the hot air balloons with my parents and it was just what we needed. Our Host Glen is very gracious and helpful! We loved staying at the Farm. The church and the grounds are beautiful. Glen provided us with fresh eggs, milk and honey. We were also allowed to pick tomatoes from his garden. All very delicious.

Wonderful place!

We just loved staying in the “old church” at the farm. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was so responsive and the place was perfectly located for our visit to historic Hyde Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming and unique

We very much enjoyed our stay. Host was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was lovely and as a former church a unique experience. Loved the samples from the farm that were provided and the fresh eggs and milk. The honey was especially delicious.

City to Country Loving!

My friend and I are both city dwellers, that enjoy a bit of country living when traveling. Glen's place is fantastic! It's old, a little creaky, full of character, and well kept. If you want sleek and modern, it is not for you. it is easy to get to, and close to many of the places we were visiting during our stay. Glen provided some local products, his hens even greeted us. Overall just a lovely stay. Thank you.

Lovely historic stay in Hyde Park / Staatsburg

We stayed here for several days while visiting National Parks in the area, and we really enjoyed it. We stayed in the church, and it was cute and mountain cabin-like in feel. Glen left fresh eggs and milk for us and they were delicious, and we loved seeing the hens in the yard. Would stay here again! We really liked it.

Meet Up

2 College mates met up to explore mid Hudson Valley. Good location to head north or south to points of interest. The Church was picturesque! Grounds private for outdoor morning coffee. Interior decor is from an era past. (Steep steps leading to loft bedroom with bathroom downstairs) Host very genial and helpful.

Unique brick church

We loved our stay at the church. It was very unique with a lot of antiques and an interesting lay out. Glen was very helpful and recommended a very good restaurant. We toured the area and enjoyed the Culinary Institute of America! We also walked the Walkway over the Hudson in 93 degree heat but it was all worth it and wonderful that the church had AC! Will be back again!

Perfect beautiful place

We needed a central location for my daughter’s bridal shower. We could not have imagined a better place. It is beautiful and so natural. Glen was helpful and welcoming. He even came over to sweep off the expansive patio before our guests arrived and this was after he made sure everyone was awake. The house was well supplied with kitchen and dining items. The grounds were perfect - lawn chairs, picnic table, fire pit and free range chickens whose eggs we were able to enjoy. We would all stay here again in a heartbeat.

charming property and lovely area

My teen daughters and I had a wonderful stay. The property is absolutely charming, a true Hudson Valley gem. Neighboring towns, hiking trails, farms are a perfect getaway place and reprieve from NYC bustle. The cricket and frog chirps at dusk an absolute bonus :)
