Lake Murray Home - Great Water Views with private dock

Peaceful Lake Murray get away! Three level lake home with water views from all bedrooms but large bedroom over garage. There is a full bath on each floor. Screened in porch with water views on all sides and walkout basement with ground level porch.

Outside there is a gazebo, stationary deck and floating dock with deep water. Even in the winter our water is deep, never seen the bottom! We also have a hammock that is mobile. Place it at the water’s edge for some peaceful solitude and a great nap location or listen to the rain on the water with the hammock on the lower porch.

Come spend time relaxing on the screened in porch listening to the waters of Lake Murray or fishing off the deep water dock - year round! The sunsets on the lake are truly a work of art!

Mariners Pointe is a wonderful lake neighborhood with abundant wildlife to be enjoyed, especially the neighborhood deer! It is the perfect location to get in a great walk or jog. There is a golf cart included with the rental if you would rather “ride” the neighborhood hood and view all of the wonderful scenery!

17 minutes - “downtown” Prosperity
Quaint small town with a precious coffee shop “The Blend”, a local drug store and unique shops with gift items and apparell. In addition there is a mexican and Italian restaurant on Main St. A Food Lion and Dollar General are close to Main Street Prosperity as well.

30 minutes - Historic downtown Newberry, home of the “Opera House”, many stores and famous homemade donuts at “Laila’s Place” on Main Street. You will also find “Genesis Coffee” which has fair trade items along with a great cup of Java! There are many apparel stores as well as “Figaro Market”, “Figaro Bar” and “Figaro Restaurant”!

Chapin - 30 minutes
Chapin has a plethora of grocery stores, Walgreens and many fast food options. In addition - there are great dining options such as J Peters, JR CASH, and Catch 22 if you want some awesome seafood!

15 minutes from the lake house you’ll find “Fiddlers Blues on Lake Murray” for great food and atmosphere.

Amazing lake house

Loved the area of the lake and the water was deep over 15’ right off the dock so great for the kids to jump in. We rented a pontoon boat at 50/50 watersport and it was right around the corner.

Family Lake Weekend

We enjoyed a lovely weekend. The house was sufficiently spacious for a group of 12 people, accommodating for a variety of interests, activities, and ages; also conveniently located. Pleasant atmosphere and handy amenities, most especially access to the owner's golf cart and private dock, allowed for rest as well as adventure. Great time was had by all!

Thanksgiving

Stayed for 5 nites Thanksgiving weekend! This is a lovely place and we very much enjoyed it! It’s a bit of a remote location but we got used to that! The house will accommodate lots of guests spread out over 3 floors. And the porch and dock are fantastic!

Nice getaway

The house was very nice. Beautiful lake setting. We were there for my son’s graduation from USC. I was disappointed that it was so far from Columbia (an hour). Otherwise it was lovely.

Family Thanksgiving gathering

The property was great for our family Thanksgiving. It is located in a community that was great for taking walks. We even saw two bald eagles on one of our walks. It was rainy some of the days we were at the house, but we were happy watching the World Cup matches and otherwise just hanging out and catching up.

Family Graduation Gathering

Our entire family stayed for our sons graduation. Provided great space for everyone. We brought out kayaks and was a great place to kayak. It was nice and roomy so we did not feel cramped. Great location and a nice quiet neighborhood. We rode our bikes and used the golf cart with no worries about traffic.

Perfect place to have a family gathering. We had Smokin Butz BBQ deliver our food and the BBQ was very good. The house was a perfect place to have them over. Beds and linens were very good and the bedrooms (5) provided nice privacy with bathrooms on each of the 3 floors. The dock was perfect for a boat and taking kids on the lake. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Our host Tammy was very easy to work with. Could not have asked for a better place to host the newly weds and their families.
