Lakeside Living w\sandy beach, gas fireplace -easy 25 minute commute to Portland
Enjoy swimming, boating, ice skating or ice fishing but get outside to enjoy the large deck, lake and large yard. When inside the large windows will make you feel like you are still outside so you can enjoy the views while you get cozy by the fire or cook in the fully furnished kitchen. Get a great night sleep in a comfortable bed after enjoying a show on the SMART TV. Take a walk or run around the lake which is exactly a 5k or walk over to Libby Hill trails. We have a Hannaford, Chinese restaurant, and Gas Station with a deli and pizza within walking distance. Windham is only about a 12 minute drive with lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. One of our favorite places to visit is Pineland Farms which is only ten minutes away. They have a great market\cafe and offer farm tours and outdoor activities for all seasons.

The property was clean with an open floor plan. One of the beds was in a loft area which opened to the open area below. Very nice showers! It is at the end of a series of apartments, not a self standing house by itself. Close to my daughters home in Grey which made it very nice. We were happy with the accomodations.
Beautiful view of Lake. Property justice pictured very clean and well supplied With dishes and all the essentials for great stay! Wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back!!
The lake was nice not too busy, the host provided canoes, kayaks, and a small peddling boat. The view from the unit was beautiful and the pictures were accurate. The inside was very clean and kitchen was fully stocked had everything we needed
Great place to getaway from the hustle and bustle but still be close enough to go to Portland and experience the seafood and dining. The place was very clean and the host was top notch. The listing photos are accurate and everyone was very friendly. Stay here you won't be disappointed.
Celebrated a family wedding at nearby venue. This was a beautiful, pet friendly condo with gorgeous view of the lake! There was traffic noise from the main road, but ample parking in site, as well as outdoor space with seating and dining.
We loved eating at the long table overlooking the water, the views are spectacular. We watched birds and sunsets from the spacious deck, the dock seat, and second story balcony. Grilling and cooking were facilitated by a large, well equipped kitchen. Clean and modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, and so many household conveniences made our stay extraordinary. The many lake toys (kayaks, canoes, paddle boat, paddles and oars, life jackets) topped it off for a memorable vacation!
Our family and our dog had a great kick off to summer here at Joan's place on Crystal Lake. Our kids loved the kayaks and canoes, taking a run around the lake, and s'mores by the fire. Our family loved grilling on the large deck overlooking the lake. The neighbors were kind and Joan was a great host, even saving the day when our dog made a surprise early morning escape from his harness. Great experience!
We had a great stay at Joan’s property, and everything just *worked.* It was the least complicated and smoothest vacation house stay we have ever had. The security code to get in, the wifi, the TVs, everything was easy to use. There was nothing we needed that we didn’t have. The lake is beautiful, the kids had a blast, and there was lots to do in Gray and Windham. We even got to see a moose at the Maine Wildlife Park, which is just around the corner from this house. 10/10 stay here.
My family of three really enjoyed our stay! My 5 year old enjoyed playing with the different toys and puzzles at the house. Photos are accurate and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals. My son liked having his own room and bathroom upstairs. We spent a lot of time outside and had several fires! Visited Pineland Farms (loved seeing the cows up close!) and the Maine Wildlife Park (1000 ft from the house). Also loved that it was dog friendly so our pup could join us for the weekend away!
My son said he had too much fun and wants to come back!
We rented this property to spend time with family for the month of July. The property is exactly as described. The few days that it didn’t rain, the kids enjoyed the beach area, and everyone enjoyed the sunsets! The home is spacious, and the kitchen is well stocked! Looking forward to returning in the future!
This place is really nice, just like the pictures. Very clean and comfy beds. The kayaks and paddle boat were great to be able to take out. The floating dock wasn’t out when we were there but might be since the water level was so low. There’s a public beach right around the corner with one though! We had fun fishing and swimming off the dock that’s there. Just a heads up the property is actually a multi unit, so you’re sharing the outdoor spaces with 2 other apartments. We hardly saw anyone but definitely kept our dog on her leash the whole time.
Nice place. Well stocked and clean. Open area very roomy for our stay.
Two problems:
Listed as two twin beds. One twin bed as a trundle bed. OK for us. Not for everyone.
Property is on a very busy street. Traffic noise may not be a problem for everyone, but it was for us.
My small nephews had a blast with swimming, paddleboat and canoe. Water warm and wonderful.
We stayed for four nights with my parents, husband and 2 teens. It was the perfect place to enjoy the water, campfire, large outdoor deck for games and dinner. We brought our own paddlebaords but it was fun to try the peddle boat and canoe, I think they had kayaks as well. We spent most of the time on the lake and kids enjoyed jumping off the docks. Inside was clean and had all the basic amenities we needed from morning coffee to making dinner. The owner responded quickly when we needed her which was only during check in.
My wife and I spent a few days at Joan’s place after our wedding as a “mini-moon”. The property was super conveniently located and easy to find. The property is consistent with the pictures in the listing and includes a nice deck with a grill and a really nice stretch of grass/sand along the lake. We brought our dog with us and it was really fun to let him go swimming in the lake. We cooked a few of our meals at the property but also made a trip in to both Portland and Freeport for dinner. Bathrooms are nice, solid AC situation, living room has a nice long table for eating and playing cards. All in all a very nice stay!
Well maintained accommodations with plenty of living space on bottom floor for a family. It had a nice big table for eating or playing board games. Bedrooms were roomy and beds were comfortable. Only thing missing was "welcome book" which would be helpful. Joan was great though with email communication- very prompt with information. Thank you!
