Everything was great, clean, access was easy, hosts were very welcoming. Only complaint is the beds were very firm. As senior women it was uncomfortable. Otherwise, highly recommended!
has lots of room, very clean. Had everything needed to cook meals. Need instructions on how to use fireplace. Would have been nice if driveway had been cleaned. Realize snow plows leaves berms, but there was just enough room in drive way for 2 cars and no street parking. We had a very relaxing time Would definitely would stay again. Brian answered questions very quickly. Loved all the books and cozy blankets. Thank you Brenda
From check in to check out, this was the perfect stay! The owner kindly called to go over check in and a few details of the home before our arrival. She was so friendly and welcoming. The home is in a great location. Close to the main streets of Baker...Groceries, gas and downtown are close. Beautiful and tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped. The backyard was SO nice! Safe and secure for our dog and private from the neighbors. The home has a nice layout and is so much larger than you would expect! We had local family come visit us during the days and everyone felt comfortable and impressed with the house. We will definitely book here again when we return for a visit. It's a gem of a property!
Great tv room! Kitchen was a comfy hangout spot. Private with a fenced back yard. We had a great stay and our host was very accommodating. Plenty of room four four adults.
This VRBO was rented to house our parents and their caretakers. My father is fighting the last stages of cancer and was here to see his grand-children's newly purchased homes along with his new great-granddaughters as an end-of-life wish.
Upon first entry to the property, we were greeted by a strong smell of cleaning chemicals. Pine-sol? Solvent?
The house was organized and decorated very tastefully. The guest commented on the comfort of the furniture in the back family room.
I received a call from the owner the second day of the folks stay. We ask about how to change the temperature in the house as the Ring Thermostat is behind a clear lock box. We have never seen anything like it. As guest we have always been trusted to regulate the temperature at homes we have booked. We ask for it to be turned down from 73 to 70. It was better but seems so strange that we were not able to turn it down in the evenings to sleep without contacting a host.
There is also an undisclosed ring camera at the front door...No problem...The property manager giving owner misinformation of 17 guests was! Another Strange incident. We all live in Baker City.
Guest complained of musty damp mold smell but no visible evidence other than my father having breathing problems while staying and that the yard was a swamp. Water issues?
There was no checkout list. Owner said start dishwasher, lock doors, take out trash. Check! Outside trash was full upon arrival.
Was not what we had hoped for folks.
When my family needed to come together we spent our weekend in this home. From Amenities, Space, Cleanliness, Special Request and Genuine communication made spending our weekend together there one we will never forget. We hope to be back again.
Thank you for having us ❤️
We stopped as a halfway point on longer trip. Enjoyed tge rest- cute park for kiddos, went bowling, and thrift shopping. House is well set up, cozy, games and books galore! Nice back yard with lots of seating. Good wi-fi connection, and TVs in bedrooms for evening chilling in bed! All the amenities PLUS!
We came to Baker City to visit the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and Baker City Museums. We loved the house! It was perfect for our group. We didn’t really do any cooking but the kitchen was nice. Glad it had 2 bathrooms. The family room in the back was so cozy and homey! Great location!
Situated in a quiet neighborhood, this house is house has everything you need for a short or long stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and large family room where you can stretch out and watch tv or play board/card games. Close to both the downtown area and just far enough away from the freeway to make it easily accessible. Hosts Brian & Amber are easy to contact and communicate with. Highly recommend this home if you are going to be in Baker City or nearby.
This was a great place to call home during our stay in Baker City. The house has a very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook dinners at home. The two living rooms gave everyone room to spread out (the college football fanatics had their own living room to watch the game, while the rest of us could visit in the other living room.) Our hosts, Amber and Brian, were extremely gracious and truly concerned that we had a great stay in their home. I highly recommend staying here!
Seriously one of the cleanest, nicest VRBO homes I’ve ever stayed in. Well stocked, clean, easy entry, lovely furniture, solid amenities, great communication from the host. 10 out of 10, I hope we are welcome to come back and visit!
We had a great time staying at this well-situated home! The location is fantastic for getting around Baker City and using it as a home base for daytime adventures. The kitchen is well-stocked, there is plenty of bedding, and there is a lot of comfortable seating in the kitchen/dining area as well as the living rooms. And there’s a large well-fenced yard for pups!
For us, the only thing that hampered our time was that - especially for my wife’s sensitive nose - the cleaning/perfume smells were quite strong. For most people this may be a benefit! For us, we needed to find ways to tone it way down in order to get comfy.
We love staying here and looking forward to enjoying it again.
