Cozy home in a peaceful setting close to Rush Lake.

A quiet home in a quiet community. Nestled between the quaint towns of Perham and Ottertail, MN, and across the street from public access to Rush lake. Make family memories in the cozy space or outdoors! Access to lakes, for fishing, any water sport, hunting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hiking and biking! Or stay indoors and enjoy family game nights, meals together or fast Wi-Fi! A great getaway! Note there is an additional kitchen (minus a stove) in the re-done garage space. Great common area for snacks and drinks, playing games, watching TV or space to set up the air mattresses for a slumber party! This rental is for the entire home. Pets are welcome but please do follow leash laws and be respectful of the year round 4-legged (and 2-legged) residents! 😃

Clean, Quiet, and Safe

Super comfy :) We stayed here a few days to visit extended family around Perham and felt right at home. I brought my dog along and she has a tough time with other dogs, so this was way less stressful for us than staying at a hotel.The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to find everything we needed throughout our stay. Laura was kind, accommodating, and quick to respond. We had a lot of fun playing movie trivia on the Roku!The only thing to note is that you have to message and download an app for check-in, but getting in was a breeze after that. Also, the front steps are a little tricky in the winter, especially if you have mobility issues. We thankfully had brought a shovel to clear the leaves and snow off and for my parents to use for stability to get up and down the walk path. We would definitely stay again, thanks Laura!

Cozy family house

Fantastic alternative to hotel. Our teens all had their own beds and tv room, bathroom and shower. Here for a family weekend wedding. Could get away and relax. Cards on the porch and nice neighborhood to go for a walk.

Rush lake house

This properties perfect. Laura is a wonderful host and was very helpful on getting us set up and in the property. House is very nice and met our needs. This is our second time staying there and just like last time was perfect for our needs staying a long ways from home

Interior of the property was somewhat nicer and cleaner than the exterior. A decent and dated home that worked fine for the two of us but may not have worked well for more guests. We could get only two of the four TVs to work, both the Roku TVs worked fine with streaming services. Well stocked property with towels, pots, pans, silverware. glasses, cups and most items needed. Knew the property was not on the lake but having a good view of the lake would have been nice. Would consider another visit given the right circumstances.

2024 Get Away

Property was very clean , spacious and comfortable with both an upstairs and downstairs.Hoping for more railings on the steps as it was a little tuff getting to both locations for our “seasoned” friends . Will try again next year. Thank you Laura Warm regards Stan and Joann Werner

Cozy, quiet and relaxing setting

The photos online don't show how nice this place is. We were a family of 6 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Rush lake is across the road with public access. We had a family reunion in Detroit Lakes which was an easy 30 minute drive from the house. Perham is a quaint town which has everything you need. Laura was available for any questions or concerns.

Convenient location

Host is great at communicating. Comfortable seating in living room. Close to Perham and Ottertail for shopping and restaurants. Nice that the host provided towels, shampoo, etc. Digital keyless lock worked great.
