This cozy 250-square-foot studio is perfect for a weekend getaway and is equipped with all the amenities you need, including a refrigerator, keurig, toaster, Instapot, and air fryer.

We want to remind you that staying at our studio is more than just an accommodation. It is a unique experience that offers a glimpse into sustainable living and the beauty of nature.

We understand that our location may not suit everyone's preferences, especially those who are not fond of wildlife or prefer a more urban setting. However, for those seeking a one-of-a-kind getaway, our property offers phenomenal views, a cozy ambiance, and a memorable experience.

We take pride in providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests while promoting a responsible approach to living in harmony with the environment.

Please note that during WINTER, the road to our property is maintained however it may be snow-packed and features an up to 9% grade. We recommend that you are confident in both yourself & your vehicles capability to drive up the mountain. Free parking is available on the premises.

Ski weekend getaway

Monique was so hospitable and made the studio very homey. We skied Aspen and Sunlight and the location was perfect especially to hit the hot springs up after! Monique was very communitive in making sure we were comfortable. I definitely recommend this spot for a couple or a family with one small child!

woderful stay, wild location

This was a beautiful stay with breathtaking views. the hosts are responsive. The drive to get to the BNB is pretty difficult. I would not recommend the drive if you dont have 4 wheel drive or if its been a a day or so since the late rain/snow. Steep grades up a hill.

Request for Refund Due to Uncomfortable and Unacceptable Check-In Experience

My fiancé and I recently booked this property for our engagement weekend on 2/15-216. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had anticipated, and I would like to bring this matter to your attention.This was my fiancé’s first time using VRBO, and we were looking forward to celebrating such an important occasion. We arrived at the property at 10:30 PM, well after the check-in time of 4:00 PM. Upon arrival, the property owners opened the door and were clearly still present in the space. They informed us that they hadn’t expected us and needed “just a minute to make the bed.” This felt extremely uncomfortable and unsanitary, as we had rented the entire space for our use and did not expect to encounter anyone lounging in the room we had reserved, especially so close to our check-in.Furthermore, at no point prior to our arrival did the owners send us a message or attempt to contact us through the VRBO app to check if we were still coming. If they hadn’t expected us, at the very least they could have reached out to confirm our arrival time. This lack of communication compounded the uncomfortable situation and left us feeling both unwelcome and frustrated.Given the circumstances, we felt it was best to leave and find alternative accommodations, which led to a 3-hour drive to secure lodging at nearly 2:00 AM. This experience was incredibly upsetting to my fiancé, especially as it was meant to be a special weekend for us and her first VRBO booking.

We stayed at the location Labor Day weekend, for a last minute getaway, and it was the ONLY lodging we could find near Glenwood Springs. The cost was quite a bit more than the listed price, which we thought was high (and would have cost more, if we hadn't cleaned our own dishes, cleaned out the air fryer/appliances, stripped our bed, and put the towels in the washing machine). Waiting until the last minute to find lodging was certainly our fault, so I guess if the market will bear the cost, then more power to the owners. It just seemed quite overpriced. It was 20 minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs, so not very convenient, although the setting is beautiful, up in the hills with a gorgeous night sky unpolluted by light! It was advertised as being for three, but the bed was very small and the "extra" sleeping accommodation was a square pillow-like chair that would unfold to make a narrow bedding. It was really hard to sleep. I think one person in the main bed and perhaps a child on the foldable bedding would have been comfortable. The room itself was quirky and fun. Clearly an add on to the barn, but they did a nice job of it. And the owner was very nice. Given the caveats of being overpriced (which may have been d/t the holiday weekend), the bed being very small, and it being far from downtown Glenwood, we would otherwise recommend it.

Why they chose this property

We dreamed of having land and multiple homes to invite our friends, clients, and family to. Now we want to share it with you as well! We have 6 acres partially off grid. The barn is cozy and eclectic. We live upstairs and love everything about this land!

What makes this property unique

We have wildlife and beautiful stained glass windows throughout the property! We hope you love it as much as we do! Massage therapist on staff! Ask about an all inclusive opportunity!
