Everything you need with lovely style. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Took a short day trip to hike. There are loads of trails for all ages and abilities near by. Host is very responsive.
My husband and I selected this property while on vacation to see friends and celebrate our anniversary. The property was beautiful and quiet. Made for a beautiful peaceful getaway. Mindy was so responsive and reached out to us to make sure we were comfortable which is much appreciated! Great great stay and beautiful wedding venue!
The guest house is a perfect little modern home with a stunning views from anywhere on the property! It provides easy access to the North Cascades and other activities in the areas. Recommend the Big Four Ice caves and Artist Point which were great alternatives to the National Park as it was experiencing horrible wild fires during our visit.
Would definitely recommend this options to any solo traveler as well as it felt very secure.
If you’re in the area or looking for a little getaway, this little garden house is the PERFECT place to stay for a solo trip, a romantic getaway or maybe even a bff weekend! My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night and it was magical. We loved everything about it! A beautiful view and peaceful property. The garden is also such a fun idea! We will definitely be returning for years to come! Thank you Mindy for creating such a beautiful place to visit! :)
This place is a slice of heaven, and the host, Mindy, is a saint. The Garden House is decorated and outfitted perfectly, and the views will leave you speechless. Together they are a masterpiece. I wish I could stay again next week!
We loved finding and staying at such a unique, lovely, private cottage in a gorgeous natural setting. Our proprietor, Mindy, was incredibly helpful and thoughtful, and her sense of style makes the cottage feel even more special.
We highly recommend this retreat for "honeymooners" of all ages and types.
Mindy’s place was a little slice of heaven. You could take a vacation here and hang out in the beautiful garden all day instead of heading into the city. Everything is so thoughtfully articulated and elegant here. I definitely recommend!
I have no words to describe how AMAZING was our stay. Property was beautiful and so peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. Mindy even left a little basket with snacks which we really appreciated! Cottage was so clean and everything was so thoughtful and well organized. We couldn't ask for a better place for a weekend gateway!
I stayed here over New Years to have a quiet anniversary with my partner; it was exactly what we wanted. The studio itself is located on a larger property; there is a barn a bit aways to its side and there is also a wedding venue a decent ways away, which I was a little worried about. But because it was the holidays, the venue was completely empty and we did not see anyone else nearby, which was great for us.
The host left us a small gift basket for our anniversary which was very sweet and much appreciated!
The kitchenette is a little small but we managed to cook several meals together with little issue. There is no microwave or oven, but there is a 2-burner stove and plenty of cookware provided. Washing dishes was a little rough as there was not a great space to let them dry, but we just hand dried them when we needed. There was also a Keurig and kettle with coffee and tea options available.
The King bed is super comfortable and very spacious, and I really liked the candle-style lights on the walls. Across the bed is the loveseat and ottoman, and a TV mounted on the wall above them. It is a smart TV which made it easy for us to access Netflix and watch some movies.
My favorite part was the rainfall style showerheads in the shower. There are two overhead rainfall heads, but one of the knobs can be toggled to direct water through a handheld showerhead instead.
Lastly I really like the style of the decor! Everything felt very classy and pretty, and it felt nice to stay there. On our last night we actually also saw a few fireworks from distant fireworks shows too!
I highly recommend the Garden House; it was an awesome trip for me!
