Overview

Tranquility Cottage is a three bedroom and one and a half bath home located in beautiful Adam's Co. OH. Miller's Bakery and Furniture, Murphin Ridge Inn, and other Amish stores provide unique shopping experiences, while Edge of Appalachia Nature preserve offers hiking and beautiful views.

Welcome to our rental! Cleanliness and your comfort is our first priority. You will find Tranquility Cottage sparkling clean and tastefully furnished to provide a relaxing stay. We have a kitchen furnished for basic cooking and baking, a dining room with lots of natural light, and a cozy living room. There is a full bathroom, and a half bath/laundry room combination. We have one bedroom with a queen sized bed, one bedroom with a full sized bed, and the third bedroom has a day bed with a trundle. Outside you'll find a porch with a swing for your unwinding needs and a fire pit for s'mores on summer evenings.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

- Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

Hunting weekend

I have stayed here before 2 years ago. Great location if hunting in Peebles. Other than the heating system being a bit clunky (noisy at night) when running. It’s a really well kept place.

It was a very quiet retreat after a long day of work. There wasn't even a sound of traffic as we hung out on the porch.

Black mold

We stayed one night because we found black mold and standing water in the basement.I tried to contact the owner with no response. I rented another place with VRBO and luckily got a very nice and clean place but not until the next day was it availble. After repeated emails and calls, I got an email saying how sorry they were and to send pictures. I did and rightly told them I wanted a refund for the 6 days we couldnt stay there because of the health issues with black mold. I never heard back after repeated emails again to them. I can send you the pictures if you want them also as proof. I have always had wonderful rentals and owners who respond with VRBO.

Cozy Home in Great Location

Had a wonderful stay. Spacious, well appointed and clean home in lovely and convenient location. Communication was excellent and property description was spot-on. Perfect for spending time with friends or family with generous group spaces including a large back porch and fire pit area. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Great off the beaten path rental

Check in could not get any smoother. The house was clean and everything was as it appeared on the listing. Would rent this property again without question.
