Cottonwood Retreat - Private Entrance - Near Canyons!

Newly remodeled & updated lower level apartment with private parking and private entrance. Perfect location being only minutes from Big & Little Cottonwood Canyons and close to Whole Foods, restaurants and many other amenities. Includes high-speed WiFi, work space, game room, boot warmer, ski rack, bike storage, smart TV, full kitchen, outdoor seating, and fire pit. 20 mins from the airport, 15 mins to downtown, 40 mins to Park City & 10 mins to hiking and skiing adventures in the Wasatch.


The property is on a corner with old growth Maple trees. The West side of the lot includes private parking. A gated entry leads to a walkway, patio area and private entrance to the house. Once inside, stairs lead into the common area... kitchen and the living room. Turning right will reveal the game room and work space which leads into [master] bedroom 1. Turning to the left and opposite direction, you'll see the hallway that leads to bedroom 2 and the bathroom. There is a rollaway twin bed and pullout full couch which offer additional beds. You’ll also have access to a large laundry room and storage area that can serve as an additional bedroom if desired.


Free private parking and driveway. The nearest [ski] bus stop is only a 2-3 minute or 100 yard walk (entrance of the neighborhood on Fort Union).

Comfortable, clean, great location.

Very convenient location for skiing and other activities in SLC. Quiet, clean, private, and plenty of room for a family of 5 or even 2 small families. We would stay again!

Excellent month get away

We stayed a month, and the place was perfect homebase from ski vacation. being near whole foods was also a plus. You definitely need a car to get around, unless you are only taking the shuttle to the solitude or brighton. Our stay was great, communication was always prompt and friendly. 5 stars overall.

good stay

very clean space, large bedrooms, a couple of bonus rooms (laundry, game) that could sleep people as well. We had a family of 4 and had plenty of room. Portable heaters for coverage. Easy access to ski slopes and quiet area. Note this is a basement dwelling, but is well lit and well maintained. Great communication from hosts a plus.

I would give Shausha 10 stars if possible. Location was perfect; under 15 miles to the best resorts, 2 miles from good restaurants and 15 minutes from downtown. VRBO should contact Shausha to write a manual on how to prepare a vacation unit. Anything you could forget, she has extras already in place. Any possible procedural questions are answered in full detail in maunals in plain sight ( and language for adults not good with remotes! ) a great spot and we will be coming back ASAP.
