We really enjoyed our one week stay. The house has a new, beautiful, well stock open kitchen and a terrific renovated master bath and bedroom on the first level. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and the house has open views of greenery with the water off in the distance. It does have air conditioned bedrooms, but the other rooms are not air condtioned, so the kitchen did get a bit warm during the hot, humid week we were there. Otherwise, it was a perfect vacation spot for our family of six. There are lots of different beaches and ponds a short drive away and bikes and kayaks come with the house and community. The host is quick to respond. Would definitely recommend.
We are a family of five-3 adult kids and one dog who rented this home for two weeks. This house suited our needs so perfectly. From the attached garage for our beach chairs and bikes(didn’t need them because there are several there)and our golf clubs to the screened in casual dining area which served as our catchall for towels, shoes, supplies etc. The deck and the view was amazing. The gazebo was my husbands “office” for the first week. We walked to the assoc dock and sat and enjoyed a glass of wine. We spent many days at Nauset which is so close! The location of this home is perfect and it is in a nice quiet neighborhood. It is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and products such as laundry detergent, paper products etc. We had such an amazing vacation-plan on returning next year!!
We loved staying at this home! Our group consisted of two grandparents, myself and my husband and our three boys, ages 17, 15 and 12. The boys loved having the basement family room to themselves. There is fold out couch, (which I would not recommend for an adult), and we used two air mattresses (one provided by the house and we brought one). The master bedroom on the main floor is lovely and the two upstairs bedrooms are very generously sized. All 3 bedrooms have window AC units. Note that the rest of the house is not air-conditioned, but we managed to keep the temperature comfortable by opening/closing windows strategically.
The new kitchen is gorgeous, and the huge island was a great place to feed the kids as well as food prep. We also used it several times to set up a buffet dinner. The breezeway is a lovely spot to eat, and very aptly named. There were plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out.
The garage has many useful items like beach chairs, coolers, and even bikes! We did not end up using the kayaks, but went down to the dock several times to swim and my kids enjoyed catching crabs.
Therese was very friendly and responsive to questions. We’d certainly consider renting the home again!
A wonderful home with a beautiful kitchen and an amazing location. Could not have been more perfect for our trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This was our second time coming back to the property and we love the house, location and excellent communication with the host. We will be back next year in the Fall!
We had a lovely stay at this home. Plenty of space, kitchen was well stocked, very nice deck & quiet bneogjbprhood but close to beach, town, shops & restaurants!
What a beautiful home Therese has listed! We were thrilled with the comfort of the home, the location, the quiet neighborhood, the easy access to various coves for our kayaking adventures. The deck is a lovely setting from which to birdwatch, do yoga, or simply sit and read or socialize. And I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower at the end of a hot summer day at the beach. The newly renovated kitchen has top-brand appliances and is well-equipped. Therese was extremely easy to work with. And her home offers some nice additional amenities such as the use of their two kayaks (although we brought our own), bikes, and tennis rackets. We loved it so much, we hope to return next year!
Our family was in town for a milestone birthday celebration and family reunion. Therese’s home was a great place for all of us. Plenty of room, well stocked, clean and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and beautiful artwork that represents Cape Cod so well. We would definitely stay here again.
We throughly enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The home was a perfect arrangement for us and our two adult children and their spouses. The neighborhood was incredibly peaceful, yet perfectly located just a few minutes from the beach and all of food and fun the cape has to offer. This host was wonderfully responsive and a gem to work with. We look forward to a future stay here. Thank you so much!
The house was spacious and well-outfitted making for a relaxing stay for our family. Having access to the nearby dock on Mill Pond was the highlight, great for kayaking and diving in after a run or to otherwise cool off. Therese was extremely helpful and we loved exploring the area.
I’m so glad I found this property as it was exactly what we needed for a much needed getaway. It was spacious, relaxing and really beautiful. Therese is so kind and extremely responsive. She forwarded a long list of recommendations for restaurants, things to do and then some. This house was just minutes from the beach, close to restaurants and it was just perfect. The salt pond was gorgeous. Having kayaks available for our use was an added bonus along with the tennis court just around the corner. Finding a vacation spot that allows pets is really difficult so it was so nice to be able to bring my dog. He loved the yard and relaxing on the beautiful deck out back. Thank you, Therese for all of your help & for all of your recommendations. We had a great time and we can’t wait to come back! Kind regards, Sue
We had a great time, the house was well maintained, easy access to salt water pond, 5 min drive to the beach, played tennis few nights, we all enjoyed it.
The host Therese was very nice and quick to answer our questions.
We thoroughly enjoyed the location we were in. The house was clean and had a lot of extras. The dock which was just around the corner was great to go to after being at the beach. The middle age adults enjoyed paddle boarding as well as taking outdoor showers at the house.
We really enjoyed our stay at 26 Harbor View Lane!!! The house is extremely large, comfortable and has so many amenities!!! We loved the deck and the gazebo, the bathrooms, the outdoor shower and the stocked kitchen. Our family really enjoyed the cove and the availability of the paddle boards and kayaks. We used them every day!!! The cove was an extra special treat when we could watch the seals who were hanging out in there!!!!! We also loved the proximity to Nauset Beach. Therese was very communicative before our stay!!! We hope to be back sooner than later.

Beautiful surroundings, great location and amenities!
Lovely stay- will definitely consider this rental for our next Cape vacation. Well-kept home that easily accommodated 4 adults, 4 kids and small dog. The guys took the kids out a couple times on the kayaks, but we mostly explored the nearby beaches. Loved the breezeway dining area which we used every night and the gazebo after putting the kids to bed at night. Not much of a view of the water but beautiful nonetheless. A great stay!

Awesome getaway!
This house is amazing for a family getaway. The master bathroom has just been updated and it is gorgeous. There is so much space for hanging out, cooking, reading, relaxing, or playing ping pong! My family and I really enjoyed walking down to the association dock and swimming or paddle boarding after a day at the beach. The gazebo was a great way to avoid the bugs while also enjoying the fresh air. Therese was very responsive and proactive in making sure our stay was going well and we were satisfied. We would definitely stay here again!

Five Star Vacation Home !!!!!
The location was great! The house is 5 minutes to Nauset Beach or 5 minutes to Fancy's Farm Stand, and a quick drive to Orleans for shopping needs. We felt at home right away with the family area and kitchen right together, and the sliding doors opening onto the deck with a secluded view of the water- even a deer in the early am! We had our coffee each morning in the cozy gazebo while planning our day. Having access to the association dock for swimming in water 10 degrees warmer than the Atlantic was extra special and something we did every day. We also took advantage of the bikes and kayaks. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The master bath has the largest bathtub we have ever seen and a great shower.
This is a spacious private summer vacation house with tasteful decor and excellent art work. We hope to return again soon!

About the host
Hosted by Therese
I grew up in Orleans. It is the perfect location for families. This house is on a secluded street but is just minutes from East Orleans where our favorite ice cream store is. Nauset Beach (one of the most beautiful beaches in the world- and I've seen a fair amount)is just down the road. The tennis court is great fun for the entire family. What I love best is waking up and sitting on the deck with my coffee in the morning. The back of the house overlooks Little Cove and I love watching the swans, ducks and geese.
Why they chose this property
East Orleans is a picturesque town with all of the amenities one needs. Great restaurants abound within a 10 minute drive of the house. The proximity to Nauset Beach for ocean swimming and hanging out on the beach is ideal. Fresh water ponds and bay side beaches are close by too. Families with younger children who prefer these calmer waters will love the house's proximity to a variety of choices. The backyard with screened gazebo is a perfect place for cocktails in the evening after a day at the beach.
