About this property

Overlooking Sebring Circle-Private Downtown apartment

Enjoy a centrally located stay in the historic Zachary building. Built in 1914, this is one of the original buildings on the circle. The interior style to this brick building encourage you to sink in and relax during your stay. The textiles in the bedroom are comfy and the colors throughout the apartment are a mixture of cool and warm. If you are looking to enjoy the best of the Sebring Circle, including the many seasonal events and local bars and restaurants, then those are just downstairs. The bedroom has a super comfortable queen bed and the living room features a couch which converts to a bed. Large kitchen with the basic necessities and a large 72-inch TV. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, a large counter space, and large mirrors. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. There is bar seating in the open area between the kitchen and dining area. The Livingroom features views of Circle Park and plenty of seating. This is an older building and there is some wear and tear, giving this apartment a spacious and clean but lived-in feel. Free parking.
Nearby highlights include: Mon Cirque Wine Bar which hosts regular burlesque shows, soirees, Sebring's annual Pride Fest, and you may even catch a tarot reading there on Friday nights. Big apartment, walk to restaurants.

BIG apartment, nicely equipped, in a nice neighborhood in the heart of Sebring. Walk to Dee’s, or pizza place, or Sheila’s pub and others. Nice walk to the waterfront park. Quieter than other parts of Sebring. Easy parking in back. I am very happy to have chosen here.

Will choose again!

Perfect set up for father-son trip. Location was excellent. Will definitely choose this place as a yearly event. Thanks for everything being just what we hoped for. (Would make one small suggestion...it would be great to have some type of light blocking curtains or blinds in the room with the futon, as the outdoor city lights made falling asleep a bit of a challenge.) But still very pleased and appreciative of the entire stay.

The apartment was clean and nice, but the outside was dirty and alot of trash, etc. around the property. Lights above the bathroom sink would be very helpful. Nice having a laundry facility available even though we didn't use it.

What a great host and property!

Audrey was a delightful host! Thoughtful, friendly and such a clean place to stay! The beds were very comfortable, with the softest sheets and VERY well set up kitchen. Lots of seating for friends and nice touches like coffee, tea and hot chocolate available. Games and puzzles were fun! We had some friends come unexpectedly, and the pull out sofa and chair were very comfortable & user friendly. We HIGHLY recommend Audrey-we won't stay anywhere else now, when we are in Sebring!

Cute apartment on the city circle

The apartment was perfect for me and my family to stay for a few days while visiting family. I appreciated the privacy of the unit as well as the location. The bed was beyond comfortable and soft. Audrey was a friendly host who was available when I needed her. I had all of the amenities that me and my two kids needed. Very comfortable stay and a great value for our money.

Hello, I am Audrey and I love traveling and historic buildings. I hope that my love of these two things will help to make your stay in The Zachary building comfortable and enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

Touches that make this home standout are the exposed brick walls and the central view of the activites at the circle PLUS awesome sunsets. The living room feautres two different sitting areas. One has a reclining sofa with a coffee table overlooking a window with views of the circle. This is fun for, again, those great sunsets and for people watching. The second seating area has a very comfortable couch, chair, and large TV. The couch does turn into a bed comfortable for one adult and linens for it are in a basket inside the end table. The second chair laysout too and can be a good spot for a child or teen to sleep. The booksehlf is ever evolving with books. The dining table fits four. The kitchen is large and has an island for more casual seating. There are basics such as coffee, hot tea packs, cold tea packs, ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, and numberous spices. Small appliances include a coffee machine, a hot pot, and toaster. There is a basic set of pots and pans as well. The best part is the bedroom. The bedroom is large, has a super soft rug, a plush duvet, a closet, and wax warmer lamps for you to enjoy a peacceful sleep.
There is fast WiFi. It test at around 165 Mbps.

What makes this property unique

Downtown Sebring is the historic part of Sebring and this building, officially known as The Zachary, is listed on the National Registry of Historic Buildings. Downtown Sebring features many annual festivals, concerts, parades, and more. There are fun electric scooters available for rent that are found throughout the downtown area. City Pier and Highlands Lakeside Theater are almost within sight. Bars and restaurants such as Faded Bistro, the Backyard at Faded, Sheila's, Mom Cirque Wine Bar (which hosts regular burlesque shows, soirees, Sebring's annual Pride Fest, and you may even catch a tarot reading there on Friday night), Dimitri's, Organically Local, the Coffee Vault, and more are all just downstairs.
Other notable areas in town are Highlands Lakeside Theatre, the Children's Museum of Highlands County, the Sebring International Raceway, Florida's first state park which is Highlands Hammock, fishing, golf, local art galleries, the Alan Jay Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts to name a few.
Sebring is located about an hour and a half to either coast, Disney, Universal, and the best of central Florida.
