Could have been better
I was a little worried that no one responded to any of my emails until the day of check in when I was given the necessary information for accessing the suite. The property manager did respond to my WhatsApp messages and was kind and professional. But when I told them there was no hot water communication went silent. I waited to give them time to respond and then wrote the owner who eventually said they would send someone over the next day, but that was the day we were leaving. Also a fuse blew and the entire power to the apartment went out. Again no reply so we had no a/c or power of any sort for a whole day before we checked out. Funnily enough power went out for the whole town in the early morning the next day. Power for the town came back on but still not for the apartment. So no hot water, no power made it seem more like glorified camping.
The suite itself is as in the pictures. Beds were very comfy and a/c worked great when we had power. The kitchen is sparse - no tea towels or wash cloths for cleaning dishes, no toaster etc. bathrooms had everything you would need. The view across the jungle from the plunge pool was fantastic, and the main pool is just outside your door and we never saw anyone else using it.
I think the hot water and power issue are easily resolvable for future guests. A little TLC and a few more items in the kitchen like cleaning supplies and this place could be very good.
