First and last booking with this booking app

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience, and it will be my first and last time booking with this booking app.From the start, parking was unclear—the instructions referenced a designated parking area that simply does not exist. Communication was poor, taking over 30 minutes for a response, and when they did reply, it was just an apology with no real resolution.The most concerning issue was finding drug paraphernalia in the unit. Despite assurances that a cleaning team would come by, no one ever showed up. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable—towels were so stained that we had to purchase our own, ceiling fans were caked with dirt, and it was evident that if a cleaning crew had been there, they did a very poor job.We also found a notice on the counter, which at first we mistook for a welcome letter, more so an evict notice.There was an issue with one of the showers, but to their credit, maintenance did come out and fix it promptly. The only real positive aspect of the stay was that the bed and sheets were clean.The pool was also very cold, making it difficult to enjoy.Overall, this was not a good experience, and I would not recommend booking this property.

Not what we expected

First off, we messaged the host two hours before we arrived so we can make sure we didn’t need to do anything further, we got an automated message of the wrong code. Once we were outside the door we stood there for a least 30 minutes before they gave us the right code to get in.When we looked around the space it looked nice until we looked closer. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom, toilets were not cleaned, fridge smelled like fish and didn’t keep anything cold, in one room there was food on the floor and the other had crumbs in the bed, and the floor was not swept nor was the carpet vacuumed . We messaged the host about this and he said he would get a cleaning team out there, but when we kept asking about it they never messaged us back until the night before we left saying they were going to he there the next day, after we left. The communication with the host was very poor and disappointing, we will never be staying here again, in order for us to have a peace at mind we went out a got cleaning supplies to clean the place and laundry detergent to wash the sheets. Unless you want to clean and wash before staying do not book this place.

Family trip

This place definately doesn’t sleep 5.. I thought couch would fold out to bed but it didn’t and not comfortable enough for anyone to sleep on sleeps 4 at best. Check in info given last minute and than I needed to download app log in to access condo which was ok until app kicked me out and needed new password very confusing. But host did fix right away. Parking pass was supposed to be left on counter…no pass left was told to go to office otherwise had to park in guest parking which was ok other than app has to be used to open property gate and my family didn’t download because it was a pain for me. Came in Saturday and went exploring so office closed by the time we got back..office closed Sunday’s left Monday before office opened and Tuesday we left condo so needless to say had to park outside residence gate the whole time otherwise get towed.

Last Minute Cancel

We had the apartment booked for over 3 months but 3 days before we were set to leave for our family vacation the owner of the property messaged us asking us to cancel our reservation because there was a conflict, as in they had double booked the apartment. I dont know the back end of VRBO but I feel like the owner should of known more than 3 days before that they were double booked. Luckily VRBO came through for us and we were able to get a new property after alot of phone calls. I would love to give a good review but we never even saw the property and put us in a bind.

Spacious and functional - Parking was difficult

Our family stayed here over the 4th of July for a baseball tournament in San Antonio. We arrived and the check in instructions were very long but understandable. Unfortunately, the previous tenant had taken the parking pass and the owner/management company was unable to get us a replacement the entire time we were there. The apartment is very functional, nicely furnished, and the beds are comfy. One of the pools is closed, and the grills don't work in the common area.

No hot water & bring your own towels

Apartment is very spacious and super clean. Has almost everything you need. Beds were comfortable. It was decorated nicely, but furniture doesn't seem very substantial. It could use an additional comfy chair in the living room, as there is only a couch. After site seeing, we just wanted to relax. Couch was kind of crowded with 3 people. So if you have more than 3 people, you'll have to either use the desk chair or one of the kitchen chairs. Water temperature is luke warm at best. My teen daughter went to take a shower and the water went cold on her before she could get the shampoo out of her hair. We ended filling the tub halfway with the luke warm water and then use every pot to boil water on the stove to get the bath up to a comfortable temperature. I took a shower in the morning. You get about 2 mins of hot water, followed by intermittent luke warm/cold water. 2 mins is not a long enough time to shower, especially when you have long, thick hair to wash. Also towels are not of good quality. You can't even wrap them around your body. Some could easily be mistaken for the rags I use to wash my car. Host is NOT easy to reach! The phone number provided is NOT his. I could only reach him via message through the VRBO app. He gets back to you the following day. Asked about the water & finally got hot water on our 4th day. Apartment has a decent location. Close to downtown without downtown price. Lots of restaurants near by on Broadway. Target is down the street.

Nice but some hiccups

The positives: location and communication for the most part. The hiccups: 1) The app- confusing directions on how to access 2) Paid to check-in 2 hours early AND was unable to get in until 1 hour AFTER the original check-in time of 4. The cleaning person was there as someone had checked out late. We had been up and traveling for 12 hours. Ruined our first night plans. Was eventually refunded. 3) Bathroom tubs looked as they had not been cleaned; some dirty footprints. Towels old and scratchy. Barely fit around me and I'm not a big person. 4) Gate broken and no parking pass. Was concerned about vehicle as location is great for getting to everything, but the surroundings are sketchy. 5) App controls the temp. I would set the temperature and I would wake at night sweating to find it somehow changed to be 5-8 degrees warmer. I would turn it down and an hour later it would be turned back up. Had the hiccups not occurred, I would rate this property a 4.

The host was hard to contact - I tried multiple times and he was not responding for issues I had

Owner was not responding to my check in issues - I called and texted multiple times and finally had to contact Vrbo for help. Made the check in very difficult I had to upload an app - he wouldn’t send the info until 1 hour prior to check in and he sent no sign in info - Very stressful. The place had no kitchen amenities but salt and pepper. Cable don’t work because WiFi was bad. Overall terrible visit.

Great location

This unit came just as advertised. It was clean and the beds were really comfortable. We were close enough to everything but far enough away to avoid noise and congestion. The host was easy to contact when we had a question. I highly recommend this unit and this host.

Is’s nice location. Everything in apartment is new and clean. Bed are very comfortable. Excellent for family vacation. Only problem was gate- code did not work and they couldn’t fix for 1 week.
