Designed for indoor / outdoor living, Viento Norte’s infinity pool, spacious pool terrace and open floor plan with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors create a seamless experience of natural beauty, and comfortable living. The interiors and furniture are custom designed and locally fabricated to enhance your experience and enjoyment.

The kitchen, centered around a poured concrete island that seats 8 and doubles as a bar / serving area, is equipped with every convenience including two sinks, dishwasher, toaster, toaster over, coffee pot, espresso machine, blender, gas stove; oven, and microwave. Whether you love to cook or prefer socializing over a cocktail while someone else cooks, this is the kitchen for you! There’s also a poolside grill and comfortable seating on the patio and terraces for those nights when the sunset is too spectacular to be inside.

Upstairs, three bedrooms open to a shared terrace that provides a birdseye view of the pool below and Caribbean sea beyond. Each bedroom is equiped with a state of the art fan and AC system. Crisp cotton sheets, soft bath towels, and floor to ceiling sliding glass doors with airy drapes guarantee a peaceful respite anytime of day or night. The master bedroom has 180 degree views, an en-suite bathroom with rainshower, luxurious king size bed, and private terrace nook to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktail. The second bedroom, designed for kids or single guests, has a twin-full-trundle bunk bed. The third bedroom can be arranged with two twin beds or a comfortable king-size bed to accommodate single guests / kids or a couple. A second full bathroom with rainshower completes the second floor.

A final climb to the rooftop brings you to the 1200 square-foot terrace. With some of the most breathtaking views on Vieques, the rooftop provides another level of outdoor living space to serve as your morning yoga studio, sunset and stargazing perch, and anytime entertainment venue.

A complete waste of money

We’ve been renting vacation homes for over a decade and had high hopes for this place. Sadly, it ended up being one of our worst experiences.Maintenance: Furniture was worn and rusted, the beach umbrella and chairs were in bad shape. Hairdryer didn’t work, and the kitchen drawers were overflowing and needing a deep clean. Mid-trip, we ran out of propane—and both propane canisters were empty. We worried all night if they could get more propane. We had to store half-cooked food back in the fridge and eat cereal for dinner. Gas (from the grill) was connected to the house the following day. House seems seriously neglected. :(Laundry: The washer and dryer reeked of mildew, and the smell spread through the upstairs. I've never smelled a mildew smell so intense. It was bad. I worried we were ruining our clothes by using them.Bugs: The worst part is we were eaten alive by mosquitoes inside the house. Ants and fruit flies were constant, and there were holes in the screens plus a large gap under the front door. We encountered several worms in the house after dark. :( Overall comfort: Seating was mostly hard plastic, metal, or wicker. Supplies were minimal—just one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and tiny toiletries. It felt cheap despite the price.I’m shocked by the glowing reviews. I question if this house meets VRBO requirements? We won’t be back and would advise anyone to think twice about renting this home in its current state.

Thoughtful Design with Stunning Views

As architects, we deeply appreciate the thoughtful design and seamless indoor/outdoor living that Viento Norte has to offer! Our children enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the views and wildlife. We would highly recommend this home to our friends and family visiting Vieques.

Fantastic week at Viento Norte

We had a fantastic week at Viento Norte in Vieques. The location and views were stunning. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus as was the air conditioned bedrooms. It was much needed great vacation in beautiful Vieques!

Viento Norte- Beautiful Home with Beautiful Views!

My wife and I spend a week on Vieques every February. We spent our 2024 trip at Viento Norte. We found it to be a stunning home with fantastic views. You're amazed by the view from the main level and pool area, then you see the views from the second level bedrooms and bathrooms, which are more spectacular, and then you get blown away by the views from the top roof level! We come to Vieques for these views and all the beautiful beaches, so our trip was excellent. Carlos and Rosa were great. If you have not been to Vieques before, realize that the roads and some neighboring properties are often in poor condition, so be prepared for that. They always talk about how many horses are on this island, but they should count the roosters someday, there's a crazy amount of these noisy birds. But if you're looking for peace and tranquility (ignoring the roosters and peacocks) with one of the best views we've ever seen, Viento Norte is your place.

Amazing property

This was our 4th vacation rental on Vieques and hands down the best. In a great central location with amazing views of the ocean. The house was beautiful and the pool was even better. I highly recommend staying here as I am sure we will in the future.

This house was everything just as described. My family and I had such a wonderful time. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you need. Kids loved the pool and the fact that all the beaches are minutes away is great. And the VIEW are amazing !!!! Communication With Carlos was great, always making sure everything was ok. Beautiful, wonderfully stocked house with amazing views, and awesome pool. Carlos and Rosa were very communicative and helpful and made it very easy. This was a perfect home base for our island stay - we definitely hope to be back!

Very pleased with our choice of staying here! The location and size of the house are fantastic! House has amazing views from every room. We fell asleep and woke up in paradise. We had a problem with getting on the island, but owner Carlos guided us in all steps and helps us with advices and all info! We spent amazing time with tons of memorable moments. House is close to EVERYTHING in town and to the most beautiful beaches on the island! Amazing pool with spectacular view helped us to stay fresh during the day. House located on the hill and it makes feels you like you are alone on the island. I’ll highly recommend you to choose this house and you will have the best holidays. 🤗 I hope to rent this lovely house in future.

An Incredible Stay!!

We really enjoyed our experience at this home, it was so nicely curated, and housed our family and young kids so nicely. The kids loved the bunk beds, and the trundle. The pool was perfect for the mornings, the kitchen was fully functional and stocked nicely with essentials. The beds were really comfy, and the living room had fun games for the kids and adults! The location was perfect, and close to everything, almost situated right in the middle of the island. We felt safe, and welcome! Carlos helped us with some tricky planning and coordination aspects of our trip overall which was really nice of him, and Holly and Rick were available to us when we needed them, they also gave us great recommendations for some fun adventures; a little boat charter & snorkeling with sea turtles, and horseback riding on the beach!! The whole house and overall experience was ABOVE and BEYOND! We are residential interior designers and contractors, so we have a very critical eye of homes, we were all so happy and impressed! We are already trying to plan our trip back!!!
