A nice cozy place to stay! We didn't spend much time in the property other than to sleep really, but all in all it was a nice place with plenty of room for the four of us. We didn't have any communication with the property manager, but really didn't have any need for it. We showed up in the dark and had a little trouble finding it as it sits behind another house. Overall a good experience!
Great stay will def be back. Very quiet and relaxing stay. Woke up a few mornings with deer in the front lawn area. Communication with the host was top notch. Wish we could of stayed longer.
We had a great stay at this property. It suited our needs perfectly. It was spacious, clean, well-equipped, well-located, pretty, and quiet. The owner was super responsive and helpful, and I'm very grateful to her! We had a health emergency happen while there and she was wonderful. I hope to stay again sometime.
Good place to crash in Missoula, close to the river, walking distance to downtown and even closer to local market for groceries. Good place to stage up for floating the river, bike rides, fishing and more.
It is a Great space with thoughtful hosts. We enjoyed our stay, and would certainly re-book this again. Good communication with the host they send you everything you need to know for checking in,
in advance. A+ for sure. Nice mugs & brewing set up for coffee in the morning.
Nice place and location, issues with host and safety
The apartment itself was really nice and the location was excellent. However, this property is not child friendly at all and I had some issues with the host regarding an incident. There are hot radiator pipes leading upstairs in several locations throughout the house that are not properly insulated. The table is very difficult to use with children. There are fragile items on the floor that we had to move while we stayed. I contacted the host before leaving to ask if there was a crib available and never got a response. While we were there my 10 month old son gently tapped a mirror that was just propped against the wall instead of on its stand and it fell and shattered next to him and my 3 yo daughter. Thankfully my kid were okay as this could’ve been a serious injury. I notified the host and offered to compensate for a similar replacement. They were quick to respond, but with zero concern for the safety issue or my children’s well-being, just to let us know they would charge us with a replacement. Upon returning home they posted a charge of $284.99. This seemed really high to replace a manufactured wood frame, cardboard backed mirror. I asked for the receipt and found that this price was deceitful as the mirror was $249.99 and they wanted to charge for their time to find it. The mirror they replaced it with was also real wood, so an upgrade. I told them this wasn’t fair and I was willing to negotiate on price but they seemed firm and still zero concern for any potential injury
Super sweet historic home in the Rose Park neighborhood. The bottom level is what you will be renting. Thoughtfully designed and set up for your aesthetic pleasure and comfort. Well-set up kitchen with full-size appliances and a basement washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable and the sleeper couch was of adequate comfort for young/light people. You are only 3 blocks from Milwaukee Trail and within walking distance of downtown, the Hip Strip and UM. We enjoyed Veera Donuts, the Roxy Theatre and Bernice’s Bakery while we were there. The owners walked the perfect line between being available if needed but valuing their guests’ privacy. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay again when visiting my Missoula-based children. 🌹🏞️
This is a downstairs unit in what is essentially a duplex, but noise was only an issue once when people upstairs came home late. The unit is set far back from the street so there is never any traffic noise. The apartment is spacious & fully appointed, in a really really great location. Walk to great bakeries, the stadium, the river, the aquatic center, downtown, shopping "hip strip" and more. We came for 5 nights, just wanted to explore Missoula area. Great for couples or family. Sleeper sofa separated from bedroom by pocket doors. Probably not great for 4 adults- 1 small bathroom, but we were really comfortable. Very safe neighborhood. Highly recommend.
