We really enjoyed our stay at the Conifer Lodge. The check in and check out process were easy. Communication with Sharon was great. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The views from the back deck were amazing. The basement has a large screen and recliners for watching movies. There is a nice pool table in the basement we used a lot. Also, about 10-15 minutes away there is an entrance to the state park where went on some hikes. We had a great time, thanks Sharon!
The property and home are very beautiful. On arrive we had to shovel the side walk and porch to enter the home. In addition, the home had either had some resent construction done or had been vacant for a while as we had to spend time cleaning all the surfaces on the main floor (counter tops, tables, and floors). Later, we also needed to shovel a path to the hot tub to be able to enjoy it. We did enjoy our stay over the Thanksgiving Weekend very much. My family and I had a wonderful time. I did give the owners the opportunity to respond, but only received an apology and said they would use the information to make the next visitors stay better. Cheers
This property was even better than the photos. Amazing views, great walks and stsrs galore from the hot tub. The house had everything we needed and the property managers were proactive and very kind.
Close enough to Denver to enjoy the city while escaping the traffic and noise. Only 30 minutes to Red Rocks Amphitheatre where we enjoyed an evening concert. Also, a great location to explore the Colorado mountains, rivers, and valleys, although we decided to stay and enjoy the scenery from the house and location more than we had planned. Perfect week!
Me and my partner stayed here from out of town and it was the absolute best and most perfect weekend we could have asked for. Everything that was listed in the details of the property were exact and the photos honestly don’t do the place justice. The host was very responsive and so nice prior to and after our stay. Every morning was such a gift to wake up with such incredible and beautiful Mountain Views. This is such a beautiful house and the hardest part is leaving to do other things! On that note, the house is located in such a great place where you can experience being in the mountains but is also so close to the city and other fun places to visit! Me and my partner have already decided that we have to come back and book this house specifically because we had such a great experience.
We came to Colorado for a concert and sight-seeing.
We actually wish we had more time to spend at the house with the beautiful scenery and fun entertainment options. The house was perfect for our group and very spacious. We had one small issue and the host was VERY quick to respond and took immediate action to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. High praise to the host.
Our group of six found the location to be peaceful and serene as we awaited the festivities and the proximity to Newton Park was convenient as we returned to compare notes and memories after the event. Spacious, clean and comfortable.
Awesome vacation home, beautiful views and great host!
We had a wonderful, relaxing getaway at the Conifer Lodge! The home is large, very open with wonderful views of the mountains. Great time relaxing in the Adirondack chairs with a cup of coffee enjoying the view, relaxing in the hot tub and, extra bonus, an awesome home theater system for watching movies (and a pool table). The Host was also very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.
The beautiful mountain home was AMAZING !!! The views are beautiful, the home was very clean . Response from Host was always immediate!!!
Close to red rocks and hiking trails ,
Would highly recommend for relaxing get away !!!!
I have nothing but great things to say about this property. The house was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The views were outstanding! The keurig coffee maker broke and within minutes of notifying the owner, she let us know that a new one would be delivered in the morning. I didn’t want to leave! We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if we are in the area again!
One of the most breathtaking, beautiful homes we have stayed in~ The views were absolutely amazing. So peaceful sitting on the deck and watching the deer and animals, humming birds roam through. Super clean, excellent communication with the owners. We will/would definitely stay here again upon return ~ only regret, not having time to jump in the hot tub~ 😊
Four golfing buddies staying in the mountains. One of those bucket list items checked off. A beautiful house, excellent views. A feeling of complete isolation, yet every fantastic golf course was still under an hour drive.
Super nice- hour away from Denver, airport, soccer, etc.
View is amazing- hot tub is crazy
Coffee is kcups, drip, or espresso- we got groceries picked up at Safeway- wish we had gotten espresso beans.
Deer hung by hot tub for like an hour
Worth the cash
This home was very well stocked, maintained, & cleaned. Kitchen items were present, both for adults and kids, and entertainment items like games and TVs were available in the home. Directions & communication from the host were incredibly clear & timely. The house was spacious and the salt water hot tub was very nice. The views are STUNNING! Definitely pay attention to the host’s directions in terms of vehicle requirements as the drive up to the house is difficult but manageable terrain if you are in the correct vehicle. We would definitely rent the house again!!!
We enjoyed staying for our Thanksgiving holiday. Our son lives in Idaho Springs and this was a fun way to spend time with him where he felt like he had a getaway as well. We ordered a smoked turkey from a local bbq place.
The cabin is amazing. We enjoyed the pool room and being able to watch movies at the same time. The hot tub was wonderful. Kitchen was perfect. Had everything we needed. Super clean. Beds are comfy. We opened the windows during the day to keep air moving because the main living room does get warm due to the windows. Worked perfect. Would stay here again.
We had a wonderful time at the Conifer house, it absolutely exceeded our expectations. There are stunning views from every room, the house itself is well maintained, clean and well equipped. The host was super responsive and professional. The houses in the area are very spread out and surrounded by trees, so you really feel privacy and serenity at the very top of the mountain. I would highly recommend this property and stay here again in the future.
We rented this place for a long weekend to come out for a family wedding. Its up the mountain a bit, but only 15 minutes to get up and down. No snow while there, but certainly understand now the need for snow tires/chains when the snow arrives. The pictures don't do it justice.
So peaceful and picturesque. Tons of room, very clean, hot tub was great and the kids enjoyed the movie theatre set up. Thanks - Mike
Can’t enjoy the view without being willing to climb!
Stayed with our group of 7 for a wedding in nearby Bailey. Loved the property. About 4 miles of scenic winding up the mountain to reach the property but well worth the drive. You won’t be disappointed in this property.
This house is gorgeous and has spectacular views of the mountains. The home has everything you’ll need as we had an infant on up. The host was wonderful and super responsive.
