We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was in a great location, both in convenience to town and in the views. Very clean home. We would definitely stay here again. The hostess waa also quick in responses to questions I had prior to our trip.
The week of Christmas we stayed was great would recommend this house to anyone who wanted a great getaway. We loved location and the house was great. We are definitely going to be back again
The home was clean, decorated for fall with a wonderful wood burning fireplace and lots of good wood available. We enjoyed our time in this home and the neighborhood loop has several waterfalls. The kitchen was well stocked.
The house was beautiful with trees all around so you barely see a neighbor. It was a nice centrally located spot to take off from on many days trips. Close to Waynesville, Blue Ridge Parkway, shops, museums, hiking trails and lots of restaurants and breweries. The house was roomy and met our needs and all of our guests were comfortable. Okay, so slight downsides are that the room downstairs had a damp smell that we quickly conquered with a dehumidifier and fabreze before guests arrived. The outdoor area around the hot tub could use a little attention but the tub itself was pristine. All in all we had an amazing experience and hope to visit the area again.
Very nice house and neighborhood; (Mostly) very clean; well-stocked;
The property met our expectations to a very high degree. Check in was easy and the preliminary instructions were well-organized with extra maps and suggestions, which wered very helpful.The interior house was very clean and well-stocked, which is reflected in my five stars. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the grill, as well. There were a few things that I will note that are not reflected in the five stars, but I believe should be mentioned. The outside furniture and decks needed some attention. This was especially true of the hammock, which my son, my husband, and I were all disappointed that we could not use. Being summer, we also would have liked a clean outside table, which we ended up using for every meal. (This was a minor inconvenience.) These are my two biggest complaints: We had only twelve bath towels for seven people for four days. The towels were to be provided, and I hadn't expected to have to do laundry. (As asked, we brought our own towels for the hot tub.) In addition, the instructions for leaving asked that we take our garbage to an address off-site. We ended up bringing it home to put in our own can. Gathering it and putting it in a can on the premises is reasonable; Taking it elsewhere--not so much. Again, we enjoyed our stay, and we hope that that those in charge are receptive to our feedback in order to continue to receive five-star reviews.
This is a great place to stay. Exactly as described and always received quick communication! We stayed here with motorcycles, all paved roads. Would recommend staying here!
The property is excellent for motorcycles, The road is paved from Soco Road to your door with no steep climbs to get there.
My wife and I both ride and our two friends brought their bikes too. Plenty of parking for 4 bikes and easy turn around.
The property has 3 bedrooms with 3 private baths, that was just what we needed.
We all agreed the location was excellent and we are planning our next booking dates soon.
Loved it. 5 STAR in our book.
My family and I loved this house! Everything was exactly as described. Great location close to town but still up the mountain enough that you feel far away.
Beautiful home minutes away from Soco Rd that has all the comforts of home. Easy paved access with garage for the motorcycles along with room for full size truck with 20ft enclosed trailer. Large hot tub, seclusion in a very quiet neighborhood, this home is the perfect rental. Owner was very quick to respond and made check in and out super easy. We will definitely be back! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
I will say this property is perfect the only problem we had was this morning when it was time to leave. Will definitely stay again next year if we’re invited back. By far the most complete vacation home I’ve ever stayed at and we stay at a lot. AAAA+++++
Beautiful house in perfect location for a family get away. Hot tub and fireplace both used and it was amazing. House was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed both in kitchen and entire house. Firewood even sitting by the fireplace which my elderly father loved on a cool mountain morning. Planning to return.
This home is very clean and well equipped! It is in a good location especially for motorcylists. Very easy access to serveral rides and destinations. The hot tub was great after a day of riding. There is ample room for motorcycle trailers too. We enjoyed our stay.
We booked this cabin for our family Thanksgiving. The property manager answered all questions quickly and thoroughly prior to our trip. The property location is an easy, short drive from Hwy 19. The cabin was extremely clean and very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and found it convenient to access through the downstairs bedroom. Our family took a day trip through the Great Smoky Mountain Forest to Gatlinburg which is a beautiful drive. We also spent some time exploring a couple local trails. We highly recommend Mingo Falls outside of Cherokee. It was a relatively easy and short trail for a really great reward. Overall, we would definitely recommend the Maggie Valley Majesty.
