Great for a getaway no matter the season, the 5-bedroom, 2-bath home with living room, dining area, sun room, decks and a game-room, features a fire pit, a modernized kitchen, and a deck with forested views! Stroll down to one of the community lakes — like Deer Lake, Pine Tree Lake, and East Emerald Lake — to soak up some summer sun. Or, in the winter, grab your gear and hit the slopes at Camelback Ski Resort and Big Boulder Mountain!

Great stay for a group

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The host was responsive and accommodating and the house was just as listed. The location is good and central to a lot of different activities. This is a great location for a group and for families.

Birthday Celebration with Friends

It was large enough to comfortably fit the 11 of us to celebrate my husband's 50th. The outdoor space was great. We had a wonderful time outside around the fire pit, the kids loved the game room, we loved the lakes that the additional association pass got us into, and we got to save a turtle!

Great Stay!

Rented the house for two days as a getaway to celebrate a friend’s birthday. House was clean and as described. Close to both Camelback for skiing and Mount Airy Casino for gambling. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker, etc. Evelyn was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Good place to stay

Overall it was a comfortable place to stay. The one shower was not working when we were there, but the host tried her best to help us. We made due with the one. There are a lot of rooms and plenty of space.

Family Birthday gathering

Went for a four day three night getaway for a 60th family birthday party. 8 adults and 7 kids (12-3). Sleeping arrangements were great..The kitchen living area was large enough to accompany everyone. The house was super cute and decorated very nicely. It was fully stocked with pots pans utensils etc as well as bathroom towels and essentials. The game room kept the kids occupied, but would have been great if the additional TVs in the house worked. Only the living room TV worked, had to use my own login and get batteries for remotes.The other TVs did not work and/or not hooked up. The fireplace in the living room was not functioning, and luckily had a fireman check to see that it was disconnected from outside. only the kitchen fireplace worked, and luckily, because it was in the teens while we were there. the only other issue was the driveway..literally a sheet of ice...multiple people fell down and slid down the driveway, luckily the cars did not. Very difficult to get the cars up and out of the driveway...salt or sand should have been accessible. luckily no major injuries.the water ran out of hot water quickly, so space out showers. Knowing what I know, I would still return, but navigate around the few issues. as mentioned, very welcoming and pretty...well stocked and plenty in the area.

Guys Trip

Overall, a great place with plenty of space. The property was very clean, we didn't get to use the fire pit or outside area much due to rainy weather but the grill worked great! Only complaint is there are lots of lights and switches, it was hard to find the different switches at times or always know which ones worked for certain lights. Also the driveway is a little tricky if you have a couple cars, someone will likely always be parked in. Overall, we enjoyed our extended weekend and would stay again!

Excellent house!!

It was an absolutely great experience to stay at this comfortable, VERY clean house with great amenities and beautiful decorations. It has comfy beds, fluffy towels, soft sheets and a game room and outdoor deck that had the entire family entertained. There are more rooms in the house that are not listed that made our stay super comfortable. The host was fantastic and very responsive. We will definitely make this our annual vacation home. Thank you Evelyn for being so accommodating!!

Family Getaway

We just finished our inaugural "Family Getaway", and were fortunate enough to have had found Evelyn Rodriguez's property on Vrbo. It offered all the sleeping accomodations we needed. The property is situated close to tons of winter activities. While we didn't have any snow, Evelyn's community offered in-door pool facilities, which our grandchildren LOVED. Layout of the home allowed for kids to enjoy themselves in the game room while the youngest could sleep in peace on the upper floor. The property offered a wonderfully large yard foe kids to burn off energy. We would definitely be interested in this property, for an annual getaway, moving forward.

Good, not great

Property itself was amazing, beautiful home and wonderful location. There were not enough towels, toilet paper, or paper towels for our stay.. we needed to purchase more. Owner did say she would reimburse us, but the home should be stocked with things like that. Also, there were mice that we saw and a lot of mice feces, owner did say she was going to take care of it. If those things were fixed the stay would’ve been much better.

Horrible experience and Vrbo is useless

House was a mess, not a single sheet was changed, not a single room was cleaned from the last guest stay. No help from Vrbo either. Ended up canceling and booked through another site. Only positive, host agreed to cancel and we were able to find another place to stay. Not the way to start a vacation.

13 people for 2 nights in the Poconos

We were 13 ppl total, 6 adults and 7 kids ranging in age from 7-16. Plenty of room for all. Only issue we had was with the water pressure. It was oddly very low. So much so that we spent one day at Aquatopia, and opted to use the showers there versus coming back to the house. Also there didn't seem to be enough bath towels. We only found 9 in the side closet off of the living room. We did not use the sofa bed, but there didn't seem to be any linens for it. But we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, and again there was plenty of space. We never felt on top of one another.

Avoid This Property. Very Disappointing Stay.

Like the title says, I would seek one of the other 100+ listings in the poconos. Not only were there numerous things wrong with the property, but the host was extremely rude to interact with. A few of the main issues: - beer bottles and cans spread throughout the property from previous tenets. Did not seem like a safe environment for children. There were trash bags left by someone who had of course been ransacked by animals as well. - grill was absolutely disgusting and appeared to never have been cleaned in years - rude host- extremely defensive/combative host. Did not accept responsibility and made excuses from the electric key pad not working, to several other issues experienced. Genuinely disappointed by the level of unprofessionalism and general condition of the house.
